Firefight Coming to Halo 3: ODST On PC and Xbox One June 24, 2020

I’m ashamed to admit I completely missed out on this news when it was first revealed, but it’s so important I decided to bite the bullet and report on it now as I feel very few institutions online have reported on it. Halo 3: ODST, when it was released on the Xbox 360 in 2009, had an incredible multiplayer mode called Firefight. Online groups of four friends could team up and battle waves of Covenant foes. It was one of the best team building experiences I can remember from the last generation.
After Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s disappointing bug-filled initial Xbox One launch subsided, 343 Industries ported the entire Halo 3: ODST single-player campaign (arguably one of the best stories Bungie ever produced) and gave it out for free to the people who purchased the collection early on. It later became paid DLC for people who purchased MCC after the launch period. However, the beloved Firefight mode was not included, and we were told it wasn’t going to get included.
That..is about to change. Now, it looks like this classic mode is finally getting released on Halo: The Master Chief Collection for people who purchased Halo 3: ODST. Take a look.
Halo 3: ODST is out for the Xbox 360. It is part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection as paid DLC. It is coming to the PC this Summer.

The first official Halo video has been released in over a year and to say that its cryptic is an understatement. Take a listen for yourself.
Hopefully this is merely a teaser for more content to be coming soon. That foe sure sounds like Atriox, the antagonist of Halo Wars 2. Could they be back for this new game? I guess we will have to wait and see.
Halo: Infinite is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X this Holiday.

Crash Bandicoot 4 Announced June 22, 2020

Nintendo had Mario, Sega had Sonic. In the early days of the PlayStation, Sony had no mascot character for their platform, until Naughty Dog Games released Crash Bandicoot. After developing three incredible titles and one spin-off, the company left the property behind and moved on to games like Uncharted and The Last of Us. Other developers picked up the slack in the PS2 generation, creating plenty of multiplatform Crash Bandicoot games, but until now we never received a Crash Bandicoot 4…until now. Take a look.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is coming October 2nd, 2020 to the PlayStation 4.
