Welcome back to Maniac’s Kitchen! Popcorn is one of the staple foods of gamer snacking. Most of us will pop them in special microwaveable bags, but roasted kernels can pop by various methods of heat, including hot air. Today, we’re going to try a PokeBall shaped popcorn popper (perfect size for Pokémon trainers who Gigantamax their Pokémon) and see how it works!

Pokémon Home Now Supports GEN4 Remakes and Legends Arceus May 17, 2022

This has been badly needed for some time, but the Pokémon HOME application for Switch and Smartphones has just been updated to version 2.0. The new version adds support for the generation 4 remakes Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, as well as the new Pokémon Legends Arceus game.

Players who transfer a Pokémon from a GEN4 remake or Legends Arceus to Pokémon HOME will receive a mystery gift in the mobile application for special versions of the games’ starter Pokémon.

Pokémon HOME is out now for free download on Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS devices.

iOS 15.5 Released May 16, 2022

Clear your evening plans, Apple fans it’s update night. An incremental but important update has just been released for pretty much every Apple Device earlier today. The new update, iOS 15.5, weighs in at around 650MB and includes bug fixes and improvements.

There are also updates for the Apple Watch and Apple TV.

To celebrate, Sam Lake is joined by the actors responsible for the in-game character to make some big announcements and celebrate the game’s legacy. Coca-Cola has released a special beverage they say is based upon the taste of space itself, Coke Starlight. While not specially marketing itself specifically as a gamer’s drink, Coke products contain sugar and caffeine, so you can be certain gamers have been drinking Coke products for decades.
