I know we’ve been talking about this event nonstop for the past twelve hours, but those of you who missed the full Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event last night are in luck.  When the event was announced fans were promised that it would give Final Fantasy XV‘s official release date. I don’t think anyone expected everything else that happened. New announcements, previews and reveals were made throughout the event, and having seen it myself as it was broadcast live, I am happy to hear it has been rereleased so that anyone can watch it at their leisure.

If you want to catch the stream of the event in its entirety, it is below. Just be aware there is a preshow before the main event began, so if you only want to watch the stage event you should fast forward to around the one hour mark.

Final Fantasy XV is coming September 30th, 2016 to the Xbox One and PS4.

I always felt the best cover of the classic song “Stand By Me” was done by Disney’s Timon and Pumbaa back in the mid-90s. Today, my opinion has changed.

Square Enix picked the song “Stand By Me” covered by the band Florance + The Machine to play during tonight’s new Final Fantasy XV trailer.  If you wanted to know what went into including that song in the game, give this a watch.

Anyone familiar with Square Enix’s film division knows that they have produced some of the greatest looking CGI feature films in shorts of the past fifteen years. With a track record with content like Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Final Flight of the Osiris, and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, I have been heavily anticipating their next project.  Today, during the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event, we finally learned what their next project is.

Incredible actors like Lena Headey and Aaron Paul have been tapped to be in the movie and it is my responsibility to inform you all that Sean Bean will be playing the role of King Regis.
