Control: Ultimate Edition Released on iPhone/iPad April 23, 2026

One of my favorite games of all time has just gotten a full re-release on mobile and tablet platforms! Control: Ultimate Edition, developed by Remedy Games (creators of Max Payne and Alan Wake) has been re-released on iPhone and iPad. If you’re not familiar with the game, here’s the original trailer.

The game is currently $4.99 US on the App Store, provided you have a recent enough device to run it. (Ed Note: Personally we would recommend an iPad Pro). The best part is the game has been released in full with all of its original DLC, including the famous second DLC called AWE, a crossover with Alan Wake. If you’ve already purchased the game on Mac through the Mac App Store, you will not need to pay the additional 4.99 to play the iPad or iPhone version.

Control: Ultimate Edition is out now for PC, Mac, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and iOS/iPadOS.
