Since the Nintendo Switch can function as both a home and portable game console, and many new players may have gotten a Switch in the post-Christmas shopping season, I thought the time was perfect to talk about some of the best accessories for the console. In this video, we’re going to review many of the Nintendo Switch’s accessories, why you should or shouldn’t get them, and where you should get them from.
There are a few ground rules to this list. First off we acknowledge that people will not use the console in Tablet (Portable) mode, and any accessories we list as being only useful for Tablet mode will be mentioned in the video. With that all said, let’s take a look at the best accessories for the Nintendo Switch!
Super Smash Bros Ultimate 2.0.0 Update Released -Piranha Plant Fighter Now Out January 30, 2019

Nintendo promised early purchasers of Super Smash Bros Ultimate would get access to an exclusive fighter that would not be offered in the game’s Season Pass. To get the fighter they would have needed to redeem a code that would be emailed to them if they bought the game online or registered their retail game card.
Now, the 2.0.0 update for Super Smash Bros Ultimate has been released and with it the Piranha Plant fighter. The update also comes with countless bug fixes and optimizations to the game. If you haven’t redeemed your download code for the fighter you should do it as soon as possible. It can be redeemed from the Enter Download Code option on the Switch’s eShop menu. Currently the Piranha Plant Fighter cannot be purchased separately for people who did not redeem a new copy of the game during the promotion period.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate is out now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch owners will likely see a prompt the next time they fire up their tablet informing them that Firmware 7.0.0 has been released and to download it immediately. The new firmware includes non specific bug fixes and user icons from New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe.
The firmware is not currently required to bring your Nintendo Switch online, but there’s no telling how soon that will change.

Tomorrow, a game many people have been waiting over ten years for will be released. Kingdom Hearts III is the final game in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, meant to finally tie up all the loose ends left throughout the previous games. For new players interested in picking up this new game, I recommend obtaining Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far for the PS4. It includes HD versions of all the games previously ported to the PS3 and they look phenomenally. If you’re like me and you haven’t been able to get through the hundreds of hours of gameplay recently, it always helps to have a referesher. Square Enix officially released these referesher videos about the previous games. They’re presented in five parts.
I also recommend a few animated Disney films which trailers have confirmed players will be visiting in Kingdom Hearts III. Tangled, Frozen, Toy Story, Big Hero 6, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Kingdom Hearts III is out at midnight for the PS4 and Xbox One.
Fantastic Update Released for Spider-Man on PS4, Two Free Suits Added January 28, 2019

Two weeks ago, Marvel announced the return of the Fantastic Four in Marvel’s video games. During the end of that broadcast they teased a “Fantastic” update would be coming to Spider-Man on the PS4 but neglected to go into further detail about what that meant. Speculation ran rampant about what the update would entail and everything from new suits, new missions, or the return of the Baxter Building were discussed. Today, Insomniac released two new Fantastic Four related suits for Spider-Man on the PS4 completely free of charge.
The first suit included in the patch is probably one of the most requested suits for the game and a suit I declared months ago would have the lowest chance of appearing in the game, the Bombastic Bagman suit. In the comics, it was a temporary suit Peter Parker used which incorporated a Fantastic Four uniform made up of special unstable molecules and a paper bag. You could tell Spidey didn’t have much time to put that one together. Sadly the in-game suit lacks the distinctive “Kick Me” sign seen in the comics, but otherwise the suit’s detail is extraordinary. The second new suit included in the patch is known as the Future Foundation suit. It is a special suit invented by the Fantastic Four for Spider-Man during the time he joined the team following the death of Johnny Storm.
You should be able to receive the new suits and a few bug fixes with the game’s most recent free patch right now. Stay tuned, we will be doing a live stream with the suits later today!
Spider-Man is out now exclusively for the PS4.

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes has been out on the Nintendo Switch for a week and while critics have been divided on it, we absolutely loved it. Part of the fun of the game involves seeking out and using Skill Chips. Throughout the game you’ll find these secret items that look like DS game carts. After finding them, you can apply them on your character’s stat screen for a special ability. The ability you get will depend on the chip you found.
What kind of special abilities do these skill chips get you? Watch the video below and find out!
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is out now exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

When Metroid Prime 4 was announced just before the start of E3 2017, the entire convention center went crazy. After that announcement we haven’t heard any new information about the game. Nintendo posted this video early this morning to give a progress update on Metroid Prime 4. You might want to sit down before watching it.
Metroid Prime 4 is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch.

We are back to our live stream of Spider-Man on the PS4 Pro. In Part 7, we decided to wrap up all the leftover side missions we had been neglecting all over NYC. In Part 8 we resume the game’s story and play through one of the most emotionally difficult parts of the entire game. All footage was recorded off a PS4 Pro with full video commentary.
Spider-Man is out now exclusively for the PS4.

We are days away from the highly anticipated release of Kingdom Hearts III. Square Enix has just released this gameplay overview trailer which details everything the player will be able to do in this new game. This is a good video to watch if you’re new to the series or if you’re a long-time fan in need of a refresher.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to brush up on several decades of Disney animated films before the game comes out.
Kingdom Hearts III is coming January 29th, 2019 to Xbox One and PS4.
