Fatal Fury – The Ultimate History Collector’s Edition Unboxing May 31, 2026

We make it no secret we are a huge fan of the classic SNK and Neo Geo fighting games. However, as gamers who happen to live in North America, we admit it has been exceptionally difficult to discover any kind of merchandise based upon SNK properties for sale, even at our local Japanese import shops. Thankfully, the gang at Bitmap Books have the official SNK license, and have been able to release several FANTASTIC reference quality coffee table art books on the history of SNK, including the Neo Geo platform, Metal Slug and King of Fighters.

Last week, Bitmap Books just released their latest SNK focused coffee table art book, Fatal Fury – The Ultimate History. This book focuses on the history of the Fatal Fury franchise, which started on the Neo Geo arcade platform in the early 90s. It talks about every game (including the latest, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves).

Recently, we got our copy of the Collector’s Edition of the book and discovered it arrived packaged in a way that Bitmap Books is truly known for. Let’s take a look at what we ordered in an unboxing video produced in glorious 4K HDR.
