Sony has just released a minor software update for the PlayStation 4’s system software. The new update is called version 4.55 and it includes non-specific optimizations.
You do not need to install the software update to access the PlayStation Network at this time, but installing it could become mandatory later on. The update clocks in at around 340MB.
