The original Splatoon came out of nowhere and easily became my favorite console online multiplayer game in quite a while. I loved everything about it from the art style to the gameplay. The fact that Nintendo continued to support the game with free content releases after it launched kept its community playing for a long time!

Enormous news out of 343 Industries today, they have just announced the second Halo Wars 2 multiplayer test will be starting January 20th!
This Beta Test will go on for ten days and will be open to Xbox One and Windows 10 testers. I’m sure PC players will be happy to hear that as they weren’t invited to the first Halo Wars 2 Beta Test back in June.
Sadly, any rewards you earn during the Beta will not carry over to the full game. However, Beta players will not be left empty handed when the full game comes out. Anyone who plays the beta will be guaranteed one Blitz pack that they will be able to carry over to the full retail game. You’ll be able to earn a second Blitz pack after completing a single game in the Beta.
Halo Wars 2 is coming Feb 2017 to Xbox One and Windows 10.

A minor software update for Watch Dogs 2 was recently released on the PS4, and it is highly likely its other platforms will follow suit soon if they haven’t already been updated.
The new update, version 1.09, fixes a multiplayer exploit and reduces the round capacity of a single weapon. You can read all the changes here.
Watch Dogs 2 is out now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Mass Effect 2 Free On PC Through Origin On The House January 5, 2017

This has been a long time coming but earlier today EA has announced they have made the PC version of Mass Effect 2 entirely free through Origin On The House! This is huge news as Mass Effect 2 has been hailed by critics as one of the finest games released in the last generation, and is also considered by many to be the best game of the Mass Effect franchise.
As with all games obtained through On The House, as long as you add them to your Origin account while they are free, they will remain tied to your account even after the free period ends. You’ll need an EA account and a PC with the Origin client to download and install the game, but you can get both for free.
Mass Effect 2 is out now on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
What to Do if You Can’t Sign in to My Nintendo on iPhone December 23, 2016
Posted by Maniac in Game News.add a comment
Nintendo offers the My Nintendo website as a free rewards site for Nintendo players on the Wii U, 3DS and SmartPhones. If you’re playing an app like Super Mario Run or Miitomo on the iPhone, linking your My Nintendo account to the apps can award you exclusive new digital content.
However, there seems to be some kind of glitch in the website for anyone who used it on the iPhone before installing the newer version of iOS 10. The site can start randomly redirecting the user once they arrive on it, eventually ending in an Access Denied message. The user can’t back out of it and they can’t log back in. This can be especially annoying if you’re trying to access your My Nintendo account to link it to Super Mario Run, as the app simply uses its mobile website for login rather than providing its own integrated login functionality.
If you’re having this issue, there is a solution. You must access your iPhone’s Settings app, select the Safari tab, and select the option to Clear all History and Website Data. Once you do this, the My Nintendo website should begin to function normally again This has the side effect of deleting all of your online passwords, forcing you to have to log back in to all of your online accounts.
Nintendo and Apple should take a closer look into this bug and see why it’s happening. Until that happens, hopefully this tip helped you.

I know I don’t usually post movie and television related content on this website but today I’ve decided to make an exception.
In my opinion, there are three iconic films who have irrevocably influenced modern video games, Aliens, Tron and Blade Runner. Two of those films received sequels, and it has been a shame that the third has not. Today, Warner Bros has revealed that is going to change, and they have released this all-new teaser trailer for the next Blade Runner film, Blade Runner 2049. Welcome back, Decker.
Blade Runner 2049 is coming to theaters in October 2017.
