Apple Releases OS27 September 14, 2026

An enormous update has just been released for literally everything that starts with the word Apple! Earlier today, Apple released the heavily anticipated OS27 (named for 2027 not the 27th software iteration) for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Mac and Vision Pro.

The biggest improvement on the new OS is clearly meant to be the improved Apple Intelligence models with Siri integration (on supported devices). In fact, Apple says that some newer devices (such as iPad/Mac running M4 CPUs or newer, iPhone 17 Pro, and the M5 Vision Pro). Depending on your device, the update is expected to require a download between 16.5-25GB of space.
