Last night, a television event that I argue was just as groundbreaking as the original MOON LANDING was broadcast to the world, and literally nobody is talking about it. Last night’s Yankees Vs Red Sox game streamed on the Apple TV service, and to give owners of the Apple Vision Pro (such as myself) a special bonus, the entire game was photographed using special 8K immersive cameras, which allowed people watching with the Vision Pro to feel like they were actually INSIDE Yankee Stadium during the game.

So how did the game go? Here’s our initial impressions, captured shortly after the game concluded.

Apple promises three more games, over the course of the next three Friday nights, will be broadcasting their games using this technology. You can be certain I’ll be watching it again.

As far as gamers are concerned, there’s only ONE major competition worth paying any attention, and that is the Pokemon World Championships. Hosted this year in San Francisco, California, the multi-day event will feature competitions from the best Pokemon players across the world as they try to determine who is, to put it simply, the very best like no one ever was!

Yesterday, the event kicked off with a major opening ceremony. If you haven’t had the chance to watch the event so far, we’re providing you a link to the archived stream. During the event, codes were provided for active players of the various Pokemon games to check out!

Good luck, Trainers!

Thursday, Netflix premiered the first video preview of Grand Theft Auto VI for the whole world to see. Shortly after that premiere took place, Rockstar Games published the preview on their official YouTube Channel in glorious 4K.

In this twenty-six minute preview, we get to look at two major in-game missions, alongside glimpses of various side hustles you can accomplish throughout the game. If you missed the initial Netflix reveal, you can give the video a watch below:

I must admit, seeing such a lived-in interactive open world puts a smile on my face. It has been a while since I’ve seen such an unapologetic triple-a budget game come out, so this does appear to give a breath of fresh air in a market currently betting big on playing it safe. The two-playable character dynamic also brings in a new series of gameplay choices that we haven’t seen before in earlier GTA games. Environment interactivity seems to also be in full effect here. You can certainly go parachute jumping off a building, but I was more interested in the fact that watchable televisions (which I remember from GTA4) are back too.

Grand Theft Auto VI is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S November, 2026.
