Gearbox Software have made not one, not two, but THREE Borderlands related announcements at PAX East 2019 and one of them is one hell of a doozy.

First up, the original Borderlands game is being remastered for current consoles with all of its DLC missions included. The game is being upgraded to support 4K UHD on consoles like the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

Next up, the Handsome Jack Collection, which included Borderlands 2 and Borderlands the Pre-Sequel is also getting re-released for modern systems including the Xbox One and PS4, and will also support Ultra HD if played on a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X.

If that is not enough for you, let me reveal the biggest elephant in the room, Borderlands 3 was announced and we’ve got the trailer for that as well.

You might want to crank up the resolution on these videos if you can, Gearbox software promises these games will be presented in native 4K UHD (where supported) and these trailers match the resolution. Gearbox promises more will be shown from Borderlands 3 on April 3rd so stay tuned for more information about that.

Borderlands 3 is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC.
