Announced at E3 2012 at the Nintendo E3 Press Conference, Batman Arkham City Armored Edition is more than just a port of Batman: Arkham City for the Nintendo Wii U, it features whole new gameplay mechanics made possible by the Wii U controller.
In it, you’ll be able to play through the story of Batman: Arkham City as armored versions of Batman and Catwoman. While the game’s overall storyline looks to be the same (and I definitely saw some snippet in the Wii U trailer for the Harley Quinn’s Revenge paid DLC expansion) whole new features, dubbed the “B-A-T System” will be accessible to the player through the Wii U’s touchpad screen controller.
The player will have access to the new computer on Batman’s wrist from the touchscreen on the Wii U Controller, enabling a whole slew of features including quick gadget access, full dossiers of all the heroes and villians in Batman’s world, a whole new scanning and hacking system, and finally fully immersive control over Batman’s remote batarang, using the controller’s gyroscopes.

Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition is coming exclusive to the Wii U.
