Silent Hill fans anxious for the next major game in the franchise will be very happy to see that Konami has released this behind the scenes look at the developers behind Silent Hill: Townfall, the next game in the Silent Hill series. The two-part documentary shows the ins and outs of Screen Burn, the company responsible for developing this new game. We get to see what their studio culture is like, but more than that, we get to see what has inspired them to make this new Silent Hill. Check it out below:

Following the events of today’s State of Play, Konami broadcasted their latest Silent Hill Transmission. We are expecting a major preview of the next Silent Hill game to be included with it, Silent Hill: Townfall. Here’s to hoping there’s a few more reveals. Happy Tuesday, gamers! Welcome back to Japan Travel Tips, where we share some of the best independently produced documentaries about traveling across the country of Japan. Has anyone ever wanted to take a vacation in Silent Hill? I promise I’ll only judge you SLIGHTLY if you say yes.
Konami’s recent Silent Hill game actually takes place in the publisher’s homeland. This is a first for the franchise, as previous entries either took place in the US or Europe. As we’ve previously covered in our article about Shenmue, game developers have a tendency to recreate a real-life space in a way that makes the player feel like they’ve actually been there!
YouTube Channel Mrs Eats has found the town that was used as the inspiration for Silent Hill f As you’ll see in this video, it was METICULOUSLY recreated by the development team. I felt it was not just a good comparison of the area to the game, it is beautifully photographed, and there’s a great inclusion on the history of the town, including some components I had no idea about!
