Pokemon Go Plus Price and Release Schedule June 15, 2016

Since Pokémon Go was first announced, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have been very quiet about its development process.  Today, Nintendo has just offered a massive trove of information about the upcoming smartphone game to kick off E3 Day 2!

A major component of Pokémon Go is the Pokémon Go Plus accessory. This is a Bluetooth Device that will interact directly with the Pokémon Go app on your smartphone to notify Pokémon Go Trainers without them needing to constantly check their phones.

When you are near a Pokémon, Pokémon Go Plus will vibrate and signal you with a specific color light. You can then push a button on the Plus to launch a Pokeball at the Pokémon. If the capture is successful, the Plus will flash a rainbow of several different colors, and a failed capture will be indicated by a solid red light.  You can then check your app at your leisure to see what you captured.

So how much will this cool device cost and when can we expect it?  Myamoto himself confirmed Pokémon Go Plus will be out at the end of July for a price of $34.99. This is great news, as this isn’t that far away and obviously the Pokémon Go app itself will need to be released before the accessory is!

Only the Pokémon from Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue will be available at the app’s launch. This was an intentional decision due to it being the 20th anniversary of Pokémon.

Pokémon Go is coming to Android and iOS devices!

Earlier this morning, Nintendo revealed the first full trailer for the next game in The Legend of Zelda series. Shortly after that, before devoting nearly an entire day to previewing the next Zelda title, they hosted a great preview of the staring area of the seventh generation Pokémon games.

While that preview has not been published yet (trust us when it is we will publish it here), they did show some brand new Pokémon that you’ll be able to catch in that game. If you missed the preview and want to see the new Pokémon up close, please enjoy.

A longer preview of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon is scheduled tomorrow from Nintendo’s booth at E3 2016.  Stay tuned for that!

Since it was first announced, we’ve known the story of Final Fantasy XV will revolve around Prince Noctis and his three men. These men would do anything to protect Noctis, not just because he’s their Prince, because he’s their friend.

How did Prince Noctis and his men become so close?  Square Enix has created BROTHERHOOD: Final Fantasy XV, a five part traditionally animated series about the backstory of Noctis and his men. In episode 2, we learn about the history of Prospero, who you might remember is the guy you’ll control in the PlayStation VR version of the game.

Fair warning, be prepared to cry at the end of this one.

Three more episodes of BROTHERHOOD are coming up as we lead up to the release of Final Fantasy XV.  Can’t wait to see them!

Final Fantasy XV is coming September 30th, 2016 to Xbox One and PS4

That’s right guys, the title is correct. I just saw Amiibo functionality for The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild demoed live at E3 2016 and it looks glorious.

First up, I’m sure that a lot of players are wondering what will happen if players use the Wolf Link Amiibo originally included in Twilight Princess HD in Breath of the Wild.

I could tell you that you would get yourself a Wolf Link companion that could be used once per day in your game and could help you hunt and defend you against enemies, but wouldn’t you rather see it in action?

But that’s not all, all new Amiibo figures are being released in support of the game, including a Rider Link and an incredibly detailed Archer Link.  Take a look at these!

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is coming in 2017 to Nintendo NX and Wii U.

Ever since it was first announced last year I’ve been waiting eagerly for new information about the new PS4 exclusive game DETROIT. It was made by David Cage who you might remember from the unique titles Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy. Now he tries to show us a world where androids are everywhere. Are they here to serve us?  Watch and find out.

It looks like David Cage’s distinct storytelling style is back. This feels like Blade Runner but in a good way.

DETROIT is coming to PS4.
