The time has come for us to talk about Blitzball, Final Fantasy X‘s signature minigame. Maniac has been seriously scared to engage in playing Blitzball because after hearing how difficult the game was, he was concerned about being defeated in front of an audience.
Now we come to the point in Final Fantasy X where we will play Blitzball for the first time in the game’s story. It is considered to be the most difficult Blitzball match in the game. Does Maniac actually have no chance or will he pull of the greatest upset in Blitzball history? Watch and find out.
And now, just because we like you, here’s a video of Maniac getting utterly defeated in an optional Blitzball game.
Final Fantasy X is out now for the PS2. It is also out as part of the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on PS3, PS4, PC and PS Vita.

Maniac’s been hooked on playing Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster since he started playing the game earlier this week. It is considered to be one of the finest console RPGs of all time, and one of the best games on the PS2…so why did it take us so long to finally play it?
We are headed to the second temple and we will be doing a lot of battles on the way. Join us as we continue our playthrough of the game.

For over a decade, Maniac’s closest friends have implored him to check out the console RPG Final Fantasy X, and now that the game has been rereleased on the PS4, he felt the time was finally right to play it. He’s not trying to get a perfect run like he did with the Uncharted games, but he does try to call out everything cited in the Grand List of RPG Cliches and find the 26 primers required to translate the Al Bhed language on later replays. Will he be able to do it? Watch and find out!

Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition Unboxing February 19, 2017

I was an enormous fan of the original Halo Wars game when it was released on the Xbox 360 back in 2009. I felt it was a well polished console RTS with a great story that ended on a painful cliffhanger. After several agonizing years, Microsoft finally announced they were developing a sequel to the game with the help of developer Creative Assembly. Finally, we would know the fate of the crew of The Spirit or Fire.
That long wait has finally come to an end for people who preordered the Ultimate Edition of the game. The Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition includes the game’s Season Pass and a remastered version of the original Halo Wars for the Xbox One. Gamers who preordered the game also got some free DLC Blitz Packs and some collectible pins depending on where they preordered their game from.
So let’s take a look inside the Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition and see how it looks inside the box.
Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition is out now on Xbox One and Windows 10. The regular edition will be released on both platforms on Feb 21, 2016.
MagiQuest Review February 17, 2017

Great Wolf Lodge offers tons of fun activities for its guests and visitors and one of those activities is a game called MagiQuest. MagiQuest is a new kind of game where you use a magic wand to complete quests in a fully interactive environment inside the hotel.
Earlier this week, Maniac and Princess Angel were fortunate enough to spend a vacation up at the New England Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg, MA. We ended up playing MagiQuest nearly non-stop throughout the duration of our stay.

Just one day after finishing Uncharted 2, Maniac starts up playing Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception on the PS4. At the time it was considered to be slightly less polished than Uncharted 2, but it has one of the best opening chapters of any game in the franchise.
Join us as we play through the opening chapters of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception with the intention to collect as many treasures and trophies as we can. All gameplay footage provided with video commentary.

After finishing up our Let’s Play of Kingdom Hearts 0.2, Maniac decided it was time to make good on his promise and continue his quest through the three games of the Uncharted Trilogy. Tonight, we wrapped up our playthrough of our favorite game in the series, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, while trying to collect every last treasure in the game.

Like the video? Our current Let’s Play plans are to begin streaming Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception next, with future plans to stream a Final Fantasy game. Which game we stream is fully dependent on Microsoft’s ability to deliver solid game streaming capability in the Xbox One.

As Final Fantasy Day begins to wind down on this website we thought we would reach back into our archives and highlight one of our favorite Final Fantasy videos.
