How To Install Apple TV August 1, 2012

Maniac got his hands on the brand new Apple TV and shows you how to set it up with your system. The device has video output for HDMI only, so you will need a HDMI equipped HDTV with support of 720p or 1080p resolution to use it.
If you use a legacy surround sound audio receiver, an optical connection is also included, but the audio works fine through HDMI when connected to either a receiver or HDTV.
The device also has a built-in wireless adapter and a wired ethernet port. You’re going to need it connected to SOME kind of local network, as you cannot stream from devices such as your Mac or iOS Device without one.

The Sony PSP may be getting phased out as the Playstation Vita looks poised to take its place, but the handheld still has a lot of features, games and functionality going for it. In what will probably be the last How-To video we ever do for the Playstation Portable, Maniac shows exactly how to get your Sony PSP to display on your HDTV.
So get yourself a Sony PSP Component cable and check out the video. For the purposes of this video we’re going to have our PSP displaying in Progressive Scan (480p) on a 16×9 display, but if you don’t have that kind of TV, the procedure is pretty much the same, you’ll just need to either change a setting or buy a Composite Cable instead.
Please note that this is only possible with the PSP-2001, PSP-3001 and PSP Go.
How to Connect the Xbox 360 to your HDTV With HDMI June 21, 2012

After I posted up a how to video which helped users properly connect the Xbox 360 to their HDTVs so they could get the best possible visual quality out of it, I started to get a lot of comments asking for help of a different nature. I mentioned in the earlier video that some users would have the option to use HDMI cable instead of the standard Xbox 360 AV cable and it would be preferable to use that instead. HDMI’s setup is much simpler and doesn’t require tinkering with the Xbox 360’s resolution settings unless you wanted to.
So here is the proper procedure for connecting your HDMI-equipped Xbox 360 to your HDMI-equipped HDTV, and if you have one, HDMI equipped surround sound receiver. All that is required for this is some HDCP compliant HDMI 1.3 cable, which isn’t usually included with the Xbox 360’s package.

In the second how to video I’m doing for this holiday season, I’m going to show you how to properly hook up a Nintendo Wii to a High-Definition Television. This is a lot easier than it is for the Xbox 360 because the Wii has fewer options, but there will still be a few things you will need to do in order to have it working properly.
