At the end of today’s WWDC Keynote, Tim Cook announced he had just “one more thing” to show us. Behold, Apple Vision Pro.
This headset appears to currently be designed with Augmented Reality (AR) in mind, as we didn’t see much in the way of VR gaming during the announcement video. It is expected to release early next year for a price of $3499.

I have been consumed by interest in the new Virtual Reality headsets, and the Meta Quest Pro has become a staple of my gaming habits. In over an hour, Meta has a major gaming event scheduled to broadcast worldwide, where they promise to announce and preview upcoming games for the Meta Quest platform. If you can’t find the stream, we’ve embedded the live feed below.
There’s no telling what we might see during this event, and it would be difficult for me to speculate about it before it began. I do believe we will see previews for upcoming games, as well as announcements for new games. Others are theorizing that Meta could be announcing new hardware at this event, but I will refrain from those expectations.

Since it was first announced during the Silent Hill Day a few months ago, one of the biggest questions gamers had was “Just what IS Silent Hill Ascension?” Well, this new trailer does not answer that question just yet, but it is our first new look at the game in a while. Let’s take a closer look!
The developer promises this is a 24/7 Interactive Series. For me the biggest news coming from this project today is that people can currently sign up for updates on their official website. If you’re someone interested in playing I encourage you to check it out.

One of the most influential RPG tranches out of Japan is without a doubt Dragon Quest. Directed by Yuji Hori with art by the iconic Akira Toriyama, the release of each new game in the franchise can be considered a national holiday in the country. Heck, there’s even a Dragon Quest Island I swear I would visit Japan just to experience.
How has the game’s style progressed over the past twenty-five years? Let’s watch and find out!
To celebrate the milestone, Square Enix, publishers of the franchise, has announced a new spin-off game coming to multiple platforms, INFINITY STRASH: Dragon Quest – The Adventure of Dai! Let’s take a look at the announcement trailer.
INFINITY STRASH: Dragon Quest – The Adventure of Dai is coming September 28th, 2023 to Nintendo Switch, PC (through STEAM and Windows Store), PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Spider-Man 2 First Gameplay Revealed May 24, 2023

One of the most celebrated comics from the past fifty years is the Spider-Man story Kraven’s Last Hunt. Now, it looks like that story is going to be the basis for a major component of my most anticipated PS5 game release for this year, Spider-Man 2. If you aren’t familiar with the comics, here’s a quick rundown on Kraven, and what he’s all about.
Immediately after premiering this scene, Sony revealed the very first playable gameplay footage of Spider-Man 2. Do not watch unless you are prepared to be overwhelmed by epic levels of awesome.
Am I the only person who thinks Peter looks a bit…gooey? Kidding, of course he does. Honestly, after rewatching this scene, it appears that the moment of gameplay we are witnessing may in fact be the first in-game moments Peter Parker has control of the black suit. I do appreciate that the game’s developers not only gave texture and depth levels, instead of just making the suit a skintight black spandex appearance, but that appreciation is beyond overwhelmed by just how amazing what you’ll be capable of doing in the suit looks!
Spider-Man 2 is coming Fall 2023 to PS5.

During the PlayStation Showcase 2023, Alan Wake II premiered its very first gameplay…oh and we got the game’s final release date.
Anyone else notice that there’s a guy with Sam Lake’s face that sounds exactly like he’s voiced by the original voice actor of Max Payne? That cannot be a coincidence.
Alan Wake II is coming October 17th, 2023 to PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.

E3 is dead, and in its place, several major publishers and organizations will be releasing preview events for each of their respective platforms. The first of those events was just released by Sony in the form of the PlayStation Showcase.
If you want to know what’s coming to the PlayStation platforms until the end of this year, you need to give this video a watch. Spider-Man 2 is heavily anticipated to be shown.
All games previewed are coming to either the PS5 or PSVR2.

Official channels for the Mortal Kombat franchise just released the following video. Enjoy!
As I watched it I thought to myself it would strike twelve, and was surprised to see it skipped to ONE! Is this teasing a new game or a remake of an earlier one? I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
