When Ubisoft announced Watch Dogs back at E3 2012, I was intrigued. While the finished game  did not live up to some critic’s expectations, I enjoyed the game tremendously, and found a lot to love while playing it and it’s follow-up DLC campaign Bad Blood.

Less than a week away from E3, Ubisoft has officially announced Watch Dogs 2.

That’s right, we have a new Watch Dogs game in a brand new city with a brand new main character. So who is Marcus, the new protagonist?  Check out this trailer.

He sure dresses like Aiden Pierce, perhaps the player’s actions in the first game inspired others?

What goes into making a game like this?  Perhaps this world premiere documentary will shed some light on that.

Watch Dogs 2 is coming to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Last year during Sony’s E3 Press Event, Square Enix revealed a unique new game based on the Final Fantasy franchise’s legacy called World of Final Fantasy.  It turned a lot of heads, but most people assumed it was going to be some kind of new Free to Play (FTP) game, they were wrong.

Today, just a few days before E3 2016, Square Enix has released an all new trailer for World of Final Fantasy. Enjoy!

World of Final Fantasy is coming October 25th, 2016 for the PS4 and PS Vita.

Earlier this morning, Square Enix announced they were remastering a special updated version of the fan favorite game Final Fantasy XII for a Japanese release in 2017.  I am happy to confirm that game will be coming to the West and here is the official western trailer.

The publisher promises the remastered game will offer an updated 7.1 surround sound audio experience, an entirely rerecorded musical score (with the option to choose the original audio) and all of the features from the 2007 rerelease, Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System, a rerelease which was never released in the US.  More information about the game will be available at this year’s E3.

This is fantastic news, as several months ago we compiled a wish list of games we would like to see Square Enix produce. Since that article was published, the company has announced at least two of those requests are coming!  I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this franchise!

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is an HD Remaster of Final Fantasy XII. It is currently planned for release on the PlayStation 4 in 2017

Boot up your copies of any sixth generation Pokémon game because Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are now offering the legendary Pokemon Manaphy, a Pokémon previously only available through the Nintendo DS exclusive game Pokémon Ranger, completely free of charge.

All you need to do to get this Manaphy is connect your 3DS to any WiFi hotspot (if you don’t have one at home there’s a wide variety of Nintendo Zone locations that should suffice). Your 3DS and your copy of the game must also be up to date, but you can update both from the Nintendo eShop.

You can get the Manaphy by accessing the game’s Mystery Gift menu before booting up your recent save game. Simply select “Recieve a Gift From the Internet” while your 3DS is connected to an Internet hotspot and you should recieve your Pokémon in no time.

From there, you can boot up your save and get Manaphy from the mail lady at any in-game Pokémon Center.  Just make sure to save once you have Manaphy on your team.

Check your gift menu as soon as you can because the distribution will only be happening until the 24th of June. Manaphy will be at Level 100 when you get it, so there’s no need for a lot of time-consuming experience grinding.

Manaphy can be obtained through Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.

A minor update for Halo 5: Guardians has just been released offering some new multiplayer content to the Xbox One exclusive shooter.

As per what is becoming update comes with a whole new bunch of REQ content including new armor types and new skins for vehicles. You can read all the details here

The update doesn’t seem to require any extra content download on the player’s end, so the new content must be server side. Users may log in to find an exclusive Hog Wild REQ pack in their “open packs” screen. I’ve been told by Halo’s official ESL Twitter feed to inform you guys that if you received a Hog Wild REQ pack today, don’t open it until 5PM EST!

I haven’t been a fan of IGN’s content for the past few years but their site used to be a daily staple on my web browsing habits and they are stil considered to be one of the biggest gaming news sites on the web. This week, they released the first part of what looks to be a great documentary about the making of Final Fantasy XV titled The Long Road to Final Fantasy XV.

The first part of this documentary focuses on the people at Square Enix. It’s a great to hear what goes through the minds of those individuals who are tasked with continuing such a beloved series. There might even be some new footage included that you haven’t seen yet!

If you can’t wait to check it out, you can give it a watch below!

Final Fantasy XV is coming September 30th, 2016 to the Xbox One and PS4.
