EA Announces Titanfall 2 Open Multiplayer Test on Xbox One and PS4 August 17, 2016

PS4 and Xbox One owners who want to try out Titanfall 2‘s multiplayer before the game is officially released will get their chance starting this weekend!

The best part is EA has made this an open test. There’s nothing to sign up for and you don’t have to buy anything. Just search for Titanfall 2 on your Xbox One or PS4’s online store and give the Titanfall 2 test client a download.

Multiplayer servers will be open August 19th-21st and August 26-28th.  At the time they’ll be testing two different sets of multiplayer maps so make sure to play on both weekends to get the full experience.

Rayman Origins Free on PC This Month Through Club Ubi August 17, 2016

At E3 2016 Ubisoft announced they would be giving away a free PC  game every month until December on the Uplay digital download service.  To get it, all you need to do is log into Club Ubi with your Uplay account and tell the site you want your free game.  Then you can play it all you want on the Uplay client. That’s all.

This month, Ubisoft is giving away the modern platformer Rayman Origins. I first remember seeing this game demoed when I attended the E3 2011 Ubisoft Press Event and I’m happy to finally get the chance to play it.

Seriously this game is free right now. You don’t have to pay for it, and the Uplay Client is completely free to download. Even if you delete the game or the Uplay client, as long as you got it while it was free you’ll always be able to retrieve your game when you log back into your account. Get it now, because the offer is going to be invalid when Ubisoft offers their next free game.

BROTHERHOOD: Final Fantasy XV Episode 4 Released August 17, 2016

The fourth episode of the traditionally animated prequel series BROTHERHOOD: Final Fantasy XV was released earlier today.

This episode focuses on Ignis, the man responsible for cooking all of those incredible dishes the team eats during the game. How did he get that position and what are his goals?  Watch and find out.

If this isn’t enough to satisfy you don’t worry.  One more episode of BROTHERHOOD: Final Fantasy XV has yet to be released.  If you would like to get a physical copy of the entire series, the entire series is expected to be bundled with the special edition Blu-Ray Disc release of KINGSGLAIVE: Final Fantasy XV on October 4th.

Resident Evil VII Biohazard Gamescom 2016 Gameplay Trailer August 17, 2016

At E3 2016, Capcom announced that not only they were working on a new Resident Evil game, they offered an exclusive playable demo for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Publishers, take notice, that’s how you reveal a game.

Earlier today, we got a brand new trailer for the game at this year’s Gamescom.  This looks like it takes place after the events of the demo.

Resident Evil VII Biohazard is coming to PS4 on January 27th, 2017.

Final Fantasy XV Gamescom 2016 Demo August 16, 2016

Gamescom 2016 is in full swing and Square Enix is showing off nearly an hour of gameplay from the final version of Final Fantasy XV.  Take a look.

This won’t be the last Final Fantasy news we will be getting this week. Tomorrow, they will be releasing the 4th episode of the animated prequel series BROTHERHOOD: Final Fantasy XV, so stay tuned for that.

Gears of War 4 Gamescom 2016 4K Demo August 16, 2016

Gamescom 2016 has kicked off and while Microsoft is not hosting a press event this year, they are showing off upcoming games like Halo Wars 2 and Gears of War 4.

DOOM Hotfix Released August 15, 2016

Earlier today, Bethesda released a minor hotfix update for DOOM on all of its available platforms. No multiplayer downtime was recorded but Bethesda recommends restarting your game if you have been playing it since before 3PM ET today.

The hotfix includes minor fixes for multiplayer and snapmap modes, no single-player fixed were listed. It weighs in at around 1 GB on the Xbox One.

DOOM is out now on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Final Fantasy XV Delayed Until November August 15, 2016

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my duty to inform you all that Final Fantasy XV has been delayed from its original release date of September 30th.

Rumors of this news had been floating around the Internet for the past few days, but we held off reporting on it until we had a more concrete announcement to report on. Earlier this morning, this video was posted by the game’s director.

The rumors were indeed true, Final Fantasy XV is delayed and from the looks of it, this delay appears to be entirely over needing more time to  polish the game.

Remedy Announces Quantum Break PC Coming to Steam and Retail August 10, 2016

Quantum Break is without a doubt my favorite new IP of this console generation. Since it was first released on Xbox One and Windows 10 back in April, PC gamers have clamored non stop for Remedy to offer Quantum Break on Valve’s Steam platform.  Today, Remedy and Microsoft have announced that is happening.

PC users who would prefer to get a physical copy of the game will be happy to know the game is going to receive a physical collectors edition including multiple discs, a one time use Steam Key, two posters, a making of documentary, and a whole lot more.  You can read all the details about it here.

Quantum Break is out now for Xbox One and Windows 10. The PC version is coming to Steam and Retail September 14th, 2016.

Bethesda Finally Resolves DOOM Season Pass Issues on Xbox One August 9, 2016

DOOM‘s first paid DLC map pack was released a few days early to coincide with the start of QuakeCon 2016. While there were no reports of issues on the PC or PS4, Xbox One owners who had purchased the game’s Season Pass found themselves unable to download Map Pack #1 for several days.

Bethesda has just announced that they have fixed this problem and Season Pass holders on the Xbox One should be able to finally get their hands on Map Pack #1.  If anyone is still having issues, please post a comment below.
