iOS 10.3 Released March 28, 2017

A major software update has just been released on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices that are compatible with iOS 10.

The biggest change included in iOS 10.3 is an all new filesystem, which will not only make your device run faster, it may also free up some much needed system space.

You can download and upgrade your device right now using either iTunes or your device’s Software Update feature in the Settings App.  Depending on your device and what version of iOS your device is currently running, the upgrade will require a 600MB download.

Square Enix has just released the latest update for Final Fantasy XV on the Xbox One and PS4. The new update brings compatibility with the upcoming Episode Gladiolus DLC and some tweaks and changes to Chapter 13.  Take a look, and players who have completed the game can simply reload chapter 13 to see the tweaks made to it.

Final Fantasy XV is out now on PS4 and Xbox One.

Nintendo is hosting the free Splatoon 2 Global Testfire on the Nintendo Switch this weekend, and folks from the Nintendo Treehouse released a massive preview video of the game to celebrate the event.

If you have a Nintendo Switch you can participate in the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire by downloading the Testfire client and playing at these times:

Today:

3PM-3:59PM ET

11PM-11:59PM ET

Tomorrow:

7AM-7:59AM ET

Splatoon 2 is coming Summer 2017 exclusively to the Nintendo Switch.

Rising Star Games has just announced the official release of this quirky little digital platformer, 88 Heroes.

In 88 Heroes, you control eighthy-eight different characters through eighty-eight different levels, in a quest to save the world from an evil supervillian.  How crazy is this game?  Watch the trailer below to find out.

Pokemon Go Hosting a Water-Type Festival This Week March 23, 2017

Trying to get your hands on a Squirtle, Magikarp or Goldeen in Pokémon Go?  Good news, Niantic has you covered for the rest of the month.  They are hosting a special Water-Type festival where you’ll be able to find and capture select water-type Pokémon including the GEN1 starter, Squirtle!

You can read all the details about the event here. Go catch ’em all now, because the festival will end on March 29th.

Kinsano, the second DLC leader expansion for Halo Wars 2 was released earlier today.  Take a look at the new trailer.

We’ve barely scratched the surface on all the upcoming DLC coming out for Halo Wars 2 this year. The Kinsano DLC is free to download if you have the Halo Wars 2 Season Pass.

Splatoon 2 Global Testfire Client Now For Download March 15, 2017

Just before the Nintendo Switch launched, Nintendo promised they would be hosting a Global Testfire for Splatoon 2. This will give Switch owners the chance to play Splatoon 2 online multiplayer months before the game is officially released.  Take a look.

You can download the Splatoon 2 test software right now in anticipation for the Global Testfire which will go from March 24th-26th.  Once it goes live, this should be playable by all current owners of the Nintendo Switch with internet access as the online multiplayer service is currently free to use.

Final Fantasy XV Episode Gladiolus DLC Trailer March 13, 2017

Square Enix premiered the trailer for their next major DLC expansion for the highly-rated Final Fantasy XV.  In this new episode, you will play as the character Gladio, a secondary party member from Final Fantasy XV, as he takes on some very personal trials to help him better protect his friends. Of course all of these descriptions are meaningless if you have the actual trailer so take a look and enjoy!

Episode Gladiolus will be released on March 28th, 2017 and while it will not be free to download for all Final Fantasy XV players, it will be made available for free to all Final Fantasy XV Season Pass owners.

Final Fantasy XV is out now on PS4 and Xbox One.

Watch Dogs 2 Version 1.12 Released March 9, 2017

Ubisoft has just released a minor update, version 1.12, for their multiplatform open-world game Watch Dogs 2.

Patch 1.12 is a small update, weighing in at only 132MB on the PS4.  Currently, no patch notes are available for the update, so we can only assume it comes with minor bug fixes.
