Spider-Man Remastered Now Available for Individual Purchase on PS5 May 5, 2023

When Spider-Man: Miles Morales was released back in 2020, Insomniac offered a bundled Ultimate Edition of the game that included a digital download code for a PS5-native version of the original PS4 Spider-Man game called Spider-Man Remastered. That version, which included support for Ray-Tracing and/or increased framerate, (as well as all the content from the PS4 game’s season pass) went on to be the basis of the PC release. However, until today, the only way to get the Remastered version of Spider-Man for PS5 was to upgrade to the Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man Miles Morales.

Today, Spider-Man: Remastered can now be purchased and downloaded individually off the PlayStation Store. Sony is also confirming existing owners of the PS4 game, disc or digital, can purchase the Remastered version of Spider-Man at a reduced price. It does not matter if you have the PS4 version’s Season Pass purchased to be eligible for the discount.
