I know we are all bummed out that Halo: Infinite will not receive a release this year, but Monster Energy looks like they’re going to give us all a big present. That is, as long as you live in the US.

Players who have been participating in the Monster Energy 2XP event are eligible to receive a free digital copy of Halo 5: Guardians for as long as supplies last. If you haven’t played it yet, now is the perfect time to do it. Simply log into your 2XP account and redeem your code.

Here’s the best part, since this is a digital copy, it is highly likely it will play (through backwards compatibility) on the Xbox Series X or the Xbox Series S.

Halo 5 Guardians is out now exclusively for the Xbox One.
