Yesterday, Nintendo hosted the most important sporting event of the year, the Nintendo World Championships 2017. In it, twenty-four of the best Nintendo players in the world got together to compete in a slew of different games from across Nintendo’s illustrious history. Nintendo World Champion 2015 John Numbers was also back to defend his title against a whole new group of competitors in New York City. The only game we knew for sure would be played was Metroid: Samus Returns on the Nintendo 3DS, any others would have been a surprise.
In case you missed any part of the event, Nintendo was nice enough to archive the entire competition on their official YouTube Channel. Watch and enjoy!
