Done by request, Maniac is doing a FAIL about a video game company.  In this video, Maniac goes over Konami’s horrible decision to separate themselves from the creator of Metal Gear, Hideo Kojima, and calls into question many decisions that Konami has made over the past decade.

Nintendo has just revealed the commercial they plan to air during this year’s Super Bowl. It celebrates twenty years of the beloved Pokémon franchise, and perfectly embodies the spirit of the game, its players, and its enduring legacy. After having seen it, all I have to say is…I am speechless.

In the US, the vast majority of memorable commercials that air during the Super Bowl are produced by companies that sell alcoholic products. Nintendo is poised to defeat them. I don’t think any company will be able to best this commercial.

I defy ANY marketer who may air a commercial during this year’s Super Bowl to produce a better commercial than this one. I honestly don’t think it can be done.  The bar has been set very very high.
