Let’s Play and FAIL Sections Have Been Added to the Site August 12, 2015

I understand that as times change my site must grow to meet the demands and requests of my readers. That has meant that I have been producing an entirely new video series on my site called FAIL, and I have been producing Let’s Play live streams on a more frequent basis.
After going through my site archives earlier today, I noticed the fact that while I had archived over a dozen Let’s Play specific videos on my site over the past four years, I have not granted Let’s Play videos its own section on the site’s sidebar. Today, that has been fixed. Let’s Play videos and videos from my all-new FAIL series, which detail Hollywood’s ongoing failures, have been given their own specific sections on the site’s sidebar, making it easy for the site’s readers to find them.
So, if you want easy access to the Let’s Play or FAIL series of videos, take a look in the site’s lower right side and click on whatever you like. More Let’s Plays and FAILs are currently in the planning process. I will be more than happy to listen to any requests you might have. Enjoy.

It’s time for another Let’s Play my friends. For today’s Let’s Play, Maniac plays what is considered to be the most frustrating and repetitive level of Halo: Combat Evolved, The Library. Despite it’s infamay, Maniac has a lot to say as he plays through the entire level, and why the level holds such a special place in his heart.
Today’s game is being played on Halo: The Master Chief Collection. for the Xbox One, using the original graphics setting option.
Halo: Combat Evolved is out now on Xbox, PC, and Mac. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is out now on the Xbox 360. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is out now exclusively on Xbox One.

Gamescom 2015 may be a memory, but its spirit lives on in all the games that were showcased at the incredible event. The first game to be shown at the Microsoft Gamescom 2015 Press Event was Remedy’s Xbox One exclusive title, Quantum Break. While you guys have already seen a snippet of the game’s official Gamescom 2015 trailer, you only saw what is essentially half the presentation. A live-action trailer was also shown, showcasing the episodic drama that will be included in all copies of the game, and will adapt and change depending on your decisions. Take a look.
You can expect more Quantum Break content to be up on the site in the next few days. This is truly my most anticipated title in the next year, and I can’t wait for it to be released.
Quantum Break is coming April 5th, 2016 exclusively on Xbox One.

There has been a huge demand for us to do more live streams of games. Since we have the ability to live stream new games on our official Twitch.TV Channel, we have great plans in store for all of you in the future.
Earlier this week Maniac and Gypsy Jenn recorded a live commentary for the fourth episode of Life is Strange. Be aware, we are going to play the entire episode, so don’t watch if you wish to avoid spoilers. However, this is an incredible episode and a must-watch for anyone on the fence about purchasing this amazing game. Apologies for the minor echo during gameplay.
Life is Strange is out now on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4. Episode 5, the final episode of the series, is planned to be released in two months.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Gameplay Trailer August 5, 2015

We’re about half a year away from the release of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, and EA has released the first live gameplay footage from an in-game mission.
As a huge fan of the first game I cannot say how impressed I am with the footage you’re about to see. The game looks exactly as I hoped it would on the new console generation. The original game’s art style has not been changed, but just looking at the footage for a few seconds makes it clear that the new hardware can take that style and bring it to a whole new level.
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is coming February 2016 to PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Final Fantasy XV is coming to Xbox One and PS4.
Halo Wars 2 Announced August 4, 2015

In 2009, Microsoft began the process of branching out their incredibly popular Halo franchise by releasing two Halo spin off games, one of which was developed by a studio other than Bungie. While Bungie’s Halo 3: ODST would go on to earn incredible sales despite its short length, Ensemble’s Halo Wars never earned the acclaim of its sister game, despite gaining a devoted following. Halo Wars proved that if it was designed with a controller in mind, an RTS was possible on a console.
Sadly, despite its grand plans for future expansions and DLC, Microsoft shut down developer Ensemble Studios shortly after Halo Wars was released. Many believed that any plans Microsoft may have had for a sequel ended with the studio’s closing.
I never thought I would type these words out, but today at Gamescom 2015, Bonnie Ross announced Halo Wars 2.
Halo Wars 2 is coming Fall 2016 to Windows 10 and Xbox One.

Sam Lake and Shawn Ashmore took the stage at Gamescom 2015 earlier today to show off an all new gameplay demo for Quantum Break, the first game ever announced for the Xbox One, culminating in the announcement of the game’s release date.
After the demo ran, their presentation concluded with a live-action trailer showcasing the game’s episodic television series, which will run parallel to the game’s story. Unfortunately those trailers have not been posted yet, but I will put them up as soon as they’re available. Until then, enjoy this abridged trailer.
Quantum Break is coming April 5th, 2016 exclusively on the Xbox One.
