Last night, Square Enix prouduced a five-hour live stream to celebrate the launch of Final Fantasy XVI. If you missed it, you can rewatch it below.
Final Fantasy XVI is coming June 22nd, 2023 to PlayStation 5. The Final Fantasy XVI demo should be up for download right now. It includes the game’s prologue.

Microsoft is doing a live-premiere of this year’s Games Showcase in glorious 4K. Grab some popcorn because they are promising to include a major preview of the upcoming game Starfield.
All games shown are coming to the Xbox Series X console.

As a gamer, I can tell you, LAN Parties aside, there’s literally nothing I hate more than social situations. A few years ago, I shared a story where my parents forced me to attend my Middle School’s Dance, and how the pointless endeavor was a complete waste of time for everyone involved. For years afterwards, I never had to repeat that…until I was a High School Senior and Prom was coming.
I never dated in High School and had no interest in attending Prom. My parents had other ideas. A friend of the family (who was the same age I was) was in need of a date. The problem was, we were not friends, and had nothing in common. The other problem was the school she went to was also attended by the exact same people who contributed to making many years of my life absolutely horrible. However, whether I wanted to or not, I would be going to this event.
Asking “So what happened?” would not be the right question. The better question was, “How bad was it?” Well, we’re going to tell you. Due to the use of some occasional naughty words, we’ve decided to put an 18+ restriction on this video. However, the intention behind publishing this video is to help those who may be enduring similar circumstances. Please post a comment below with your thoughts.

Apple Vision Pro Announced June 5, 2023

At the end of today’s WWDC Keynote, Tim Cook announced he had just “one more thing” to show us. Behold, Apple Vision Pro.
This headset appears to currently be designed with Augmented Reality (AR) in mind, as we didn’t see much in the way of VR gaming during the announcement video. It is expected to release early next year for a price of $3499.
Meta Quest Gaming Showcase 2023 Streaming at 1PM Eastern June 1, 2023

I have been consumed by interest in the new Virtual Reality headsets, and the Meta Quest Pro has become a staple of my gaming habits. In over an hour, Meta has a major gaming event scheduled to broadcast worldwide, where they promise to announce and preview upcoming games for the Meta Quest platform. If you can’t find the stream, we’ve embedded the live feed below.
There’s no telling what we might see during this event, and it would be difficult for me to speculate about it before it began. I do believe we will see previews for upcoming games, as well as announcements for new games. Others are theorizing that Meta could be announcing new hardware at this event, but I will refrain from those expectations.

As someone who has worked with Virtual Reality (VR) for some time and is fully aware of not just what is theoretically possible with the hardware, but also what is CURRENTLY possible with it today, I realized that a VR headset on sale today could make office work, especially VIRTUAL office work (see what I did there?), much easier and more cost effect. It also has the benefit of minimizing desk clutter.
So we decided to offer this professional presentation entirely for free to talk about the potential benefits to office employees who wish to upgrade to using a VR headset. Give it a watch and send it to whoever is in charge at their work who might benefit from watching it.

Since it was first announced during the Silent Hill Day a few months ago, one of the biggest questions gamers had was “Just what IS Silent Hill Ascension?” Well, this new trailer does not answer that question just yet, but it is our first new look at the game in a while. Let’s take a closer look!
The developer promises this is a 24/7 Interactive Series. For me the biggest news coming from this project today is that people can currently sign up for updates on their official website. If you’re someone interested in playing I encourage you to check it out.

One of the most influential RPG tranches out of Japan is without a doubt Dragon Quest. Directed by Yuji Hori with art by the iconic Akira Toriyama, the release of each new game in the franchise can be considered a national holiday in the country. Heck, there’s even a Dragon Quest Island I swear I would visit Japan just to experience.
