Star Fox Zero Delayed September 18, 2015

Star Fox Zero was shown at this year’s E3 and it quickly became one of my most anticipated games that would be coming to the Wii U. I have great memories playing Star Fox 64, heck I even liked Star Fox Adventures for the GameCube, so it was great to see a new game in the Star Fox universe being made exclusively for the Wii U console.
The game was expected to release later this year. Sadly, Nintendo has just confirmed that Star Fox Zero has been delayed and will not see a release this year. The game’s developers have confirmed in an official announcement that they simply require more time to further polish the game. Really sad to hear this news, but I’m sure it’s for the best.
Star Fox Zero is coming Q1 2016 exclusively on the Wii U.

Halo 5: Guardians Cinema First Look Preview September 17, 2015

Anyone who’s walked into a movie theater early in the past few years knows that theaters will usually broadcast a short preshow before the start of any film. It’s called the Cinema First Look, and it will usually offer previews and behind the scenes information for new television shows or movies that are planned for release within the next few months. However, on very rare occasions, the First Look will take a look at something you might actually be interested in hearing more about, like upcoming video games, software or technology.
Earlier this week, First Look has released a gameplay preview and interviews with the game’s development team of the highly anticipated Xbox One title Halo 5: Guardians. If you go to the theater you might be able to catch this segment before the start of your movie, but if you have luck like mine your local cinema might have the kind of projectionist who likes to show horror trailers before the start of family films and you might miss out on this video entirely. So for your convenience and your piece of mind, I have posted the video below. Enjoy.
Halo 5: Guardians is coming October 2015 exclusively to Xbox One.

iOS 9 Released September 16, 2015

Apple fans rejoice, a new era has begun…well, I should say, a new operating system for your personal devices has been released. iOS 9 is now being offered for download on compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. The new update promises a laundry list of improvements for your iDevice including improved battery life, new Siri and Maps features, and compatibility with iPhone 6s features like LivePhoto.
Depending on which Apple device you would like to update, users who had previously installed the most up to date version of iOS can expect to download around 1 GB of data. Update times will also vary depending on your device. As an experiment we tried updating a third generation iPad and a iPhone 5s at around the same time. Both devices initiated their Apple logo update screens at exactly the same moment and we found the iPhone 5s was able to complete the update process a few minutes before the iPad was finished. Your experience may vary.
