Apple has just released a major update for literally every single device they have on the market earlier today. That means that Mac, Vision Pro, iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, and Apple TV.

iPhone owners will be able to control their phones from their Macs after installing macOS Sequoia. iPad owners who use Apple Pencil will discover a new Calculator application, with a Math Notes features, where they can scribble out equations the iPad can solve in real time. You can even save math notes the same way you save text in the original Notes application, so you can have multiple problems scribbled out you can save and polish later.

VisionOS got some major performance improvements, added the highly anticipated Bora Bora background, and improved the interface for Home Screen. This to me is probably the biggest release of the night and it will weigh in at over 4.5 GB, without a doubt the largest update the device has seen to date, but it was also one of the quickest updates of the night. Meanwhile, new updates for Apple Watch and Apple TV have also been released!

So this is just a reminder, check EVERYTHING tonight, especially if you intend to buy a new iPhone, or Apple Watch later this week. iPhone 16 and Apple Watch Series 10 are expected to ship with these operating systems preloaded.

Sony revealed their next major upgrade for the PS5 console today. Behold, the PS5 Pro!

PS5 Pro will launch November 7th, 2024 for a price of $699US. It will come with 2TB internal storage and lack a stand or optical disc drive. Sony will sell a the disc drive separately for $79US.

I appreciate the increased internal storage, but that price seems really high to me for something that lacks an integrated disc drive. I guess we will see how things turn out when it launches in a few months.

Silent Hill 2 is still considered to be one of the greatest games of all time. A few years ago, Konami announced they have been working on a remaster of Silent Hill 2 for the PS5, and the internet has been waiting on pins and needles for it ever since. Earlier in the week, Konami did a huge story reveal in the form of a remake of the original game’s opening cinematic. Let’s take a look!

I have to admit, this trailer looks absolutely incredible! And I’m so happy to hear the soundtrack once again.

Silent Hill 2 is coming to the PS5 and PC October 8th, 2024.

Pokémon Worlds 2025 AND 2026 Announced August 19, 2024

At the finale of Pokémon Worlds 2024, it is tradition for The Pokemon Company to announce and reveal the host sites for the next year’s World Championships. This time, they decided to go big!

The sites chosen are making some interesting implications. The past few years have selected sites that have a parallel to an in-game region, and as far as I know California has not been adapted in any Pokemon game at this time. It’s interesting that they would choose to host TWO World Championships in a location with no noticeable Pokémon region to compare to…at least, no region as of yet…
