Gears 5 Title Update 1 Released October 3, 2019

Gears 5 is the biggest exclusive game Microsoft will publish this year and it has gotten plenty of well-deserved praise from gaming media across the web. Sadly, it also suffered from numerous bugs and glitches that were unable to be fixed before its initial release.
Here’s a full list of all the bug fixes brought in by Title Update 1 and a roadmap for the game’s ongoing support. Not all of the game’s bugs were fixed, there are still some issues that Microsoft and The Coalition are aware of. You can keep up to date with the game’s current status by clicking here.
Personally I’m glad to see this release is out. Due to the collectible retention bug, I held off progressing in the game past the start of Act II until many of these issues were addressed. It looks like I should be able to resume my campaign
Gears 5 is out now for the Xbox One and PC.

Maniac’s Kitchen – Rockstar Energy Drink Gears 5 Promotion Taste Test September 29, 2019

Earlier this month, we reported that Rockstar Energy Drink was partnering with Microsoft to offer free codes for exclusive Gears 5 downloadable content (DLC) to players who purchase specially marked cans of the beverage. However, in the time since we wrote that bit of news it has been next to impossible for us to find those marked cans of the beverage in any of our local shops or retail stores.
Eventually, we were able to find ONE flavor of Rockstar Energy Drink that had the Gears 5 marking in our area, this one is called the Pure Zero flavor (due to the fact it advertises it has 0 calories). We never tried REG before, so we decided to give it a taste test on camera to see how well it stacks up against other beverages.
Gears 5 is out now for Xbox One and PC.

A major system update I have been waiting for has been released for the iPad. It includes a revolutionary new interface inspired by macOS, support for the new Dark Mode, improved Apple Pencil support, and a lot more! It also adds support for the new Apple Arcade service that originally launched on the iPhone last week. It weighs in at around 1.9GB.
iPhone users who upgraded to iOS 13 last week will find a new software update, version 13.1 is now up for download as well. This update includes the last few features promised in iOS 13 included improved battery life, Airdrop and Airplay improvements. If you already have iOS 13 installed, it’ll weigh in at around 500MB.
We’re not finished yet. Apple TV owners will also need to update the most recent units to unlock device support for the new Apple Arcade. You can download this right now using your streaming box’s software update feature.
