GameStop’s August 2020 Pokemon Pass Event Cancelled August 18, 2020

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up, as I’ve received the official word about this and I would like to spread the word. Multiple organizations have written about a Pokémon Pass distribution happening this month between August 14th and 31st, 2020 at GameStop stores across the US. In fact, my local GameStop even had a sign up about the event.
However, the Pokémon Pass application, which is required to participate in the event, makes no mention of it. After directly contacting The Pokémon Company to ask them why, I received an official response. It turns out The Pokémon Company has officially CANCELLED that event, which is why there is no mention of it in the application.
My guess is they’ll do another method of distributing the crystal remotely. No reason they can’t use something like the Mystery Box function.
People unhappy about this event can rest assured their trip to GameStop is not in vain. The retailer is still doing a physical Pokémon distribution. Anyone who spends a minimum of $15 US on Pokémon TCG products total (so multiple products that add up to that amount will count) will get an exclusive Copperjah TCG Promo Card. That event will conclude on August 21st, 2020. Make sure to call your local store to make sure they are in stock.
Pokémon Pass is out for Android and iOS smart devices.

Halo Infinite Delayed To 2021 August 11, 2020

Today seems to be the day of the delay, as Microsoft has just confirmed they will be delaying the highly-anticipated Halo Infinite’s Holiday 2020 release to an undefined time next year. This is a big deal as we expected this game to be a launch title for the Xbox Series X, and now we don’t know what games can be expected to take its place.
Halo is still the biggest platform exclusive property Microsoft has. It’s clear they would not have taken this decision lightly. There were concerns over graphics and gameplay in its recent reveal video, but I didn’t share those concerns. We will keep you posted with new information as it becomes available.
Halo Infinite is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC in 2021.
