In the video I mention a fantastic parody video of Silent Hill 2’s menu screen cinematic done by Linkara. If you want to check it out for yourself, you can watch it here on his website. Note: I think I mistakenly credited his parody in the video to his Silent Hill: Dead/Alive #3 and #4 review, when in fact it was his Silent Hill: Dying Inside #3 and #4 review.

So What Happened is back by popular demand!
As the new Alan Wake game came on track to be released, traffic for the So What Happened video I made about Alan Wake (which you can watch here) increased tremendously, and with the ability to post longer videos up having been returned to me, making a new video about the newest Alan Wake game, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, seemed like the perfect decision.
This latest site video is about the backstory and plot of Alan Wake’s American Nightmare. Why is Alan Wake in Night Springs, Arizona for one night? Who is Mr. Scratch, this evil doppelganger who was created when Alan first entered the Dark Place? Finally, just what happens to Alan at the very end?
Be warned, there will be HEAVY SPOILERS to the Alan Wake games included in this video. Enjoy!

Maniac goes through his shelves to take a look at some of the super rare gaming related collectibles he’s acquired over the years. While some of them were obtained as preorder bonuses with games, others he’s won through various contests and challenges. Because they’re so varied and little information is available on them, he’s curious what their value is, and is curious if they have appreciated in value.

I wasn’t expecting to do another Mind of Maniac so soon, but I got the request to do this one from a comment in one of my previous videos. They asked me why I thought that video game movies sucked.
I have been following the video game industry for years, and more than that I’ve also followed the movie industry as well. I watch a lot of behind the scenes documentaries on films and filmmaking, and I read a lot of news online about the status of recent films and the people who make them.
So, here’s the third episode of Mind of Maniac, totally unscripted and uncensored. I answer the question and pull no punches while doing so. Hope you enjoy and please post a comment!
