Maniac unboxes the Xbox 360 version of the highly anticipated South Park RPG, The Stick of Truth. Based on the hugely successful and controversial South Park television show, South Park: The Stick of Truth serves as a parody, adventure game and RPG all in one. The Grand Wizard Edition has a thirty dollar premium over the regular version of the game and includes several DLC Costumes, a high quality statue of character Eric Cartman as he appears in the game, and a collectible map.
Let’s crack it open and see if it’s worth the purchase.

Maniac compares the size of the battery that shipped with the Wii U Controller with the High Capacity Battery Nintendo is selling exclusively through their Parts and Supply Website. Nintendo promises that this new battery, which after shipping and taxes costs around $40 US, will have a much longer lifespan than the 3-hour battery that the Wii U Controller shipped with.
When you crack the Wii U open, the difference is very noticeable.

Maniac reminisces about one of his favorite sites on the web, Acts of Gord. The site is about the Gord, a game store owner from Canada, and the idiots who he would have to deal with on a daily basis. It’s one of the few websites I can admit coming across and wanting to read every piece of work published on it.

Just as promised, Maniac plays through the entire Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Demo on the Xbox 360. The video is directly captured through a digital HDMI source in native 1080p and presented without commentary. From someone who has played Final Fantasy XIII, I can say that I was not as interested in playing this game until I got a chance to check out the demo for myself. I’m really happy that I did as I LOVE the new real-time combat system. Check it out.
For reasons of time, I chose not to include the most recent Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII trailer that played as soon as the demo wrapped up. If you would like to watch it, you can check it out below.

Maniac shows how to install Microsoft’s newest console, the Xbox One, to a HDMI capable Home Theater System. Just remember, you will need an HDMI equipped HDTV and High Speed Internet connection to install the Xbox One.

To commemorate the launch of the PC version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance to Steam, Maniac unboxes a pretty high quality promotional piece released through GameStop’s Power Up Rewards program, the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Letter Opener.
If you’re interested in taking a look at this game on the PC or Console, just be aware the PC version includes all of the DLC that has been released for the console version of the game, including playable skins.
