Big news! Maniac and Princess Angel will be attending this year’s ConnectiCon, which will take place July 10-13 at the Hartford Convention Center in Hartford, CT.
The event is a celebration of all fandom and will have a huge deus of celebrities, panels, tournaments, cosplay and a lot more! You can read all about the event at their official website.
Special thanks again to the event organizers, (particularly Leo) for allowing us to attend. Hope to see you all there!

After creating a character in the Destiny Alpha Test and selecting your character class, you immediately get dropped into the game with a mission to complete.
Anyone who remembers how they felt the first moment they landed on Halo may feel something very familiar when watching this video. All footage was captured using the PS4’s DVR.
Destiny is coming September 9th, 2014 to the PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Watch Dogs Collectors Edition Unboxing June 1, 2014

Maniac picked up the Collector’s Edition of the highly anticipated multiplatform title Watch_Dogs. Let’s crack it open and see if it’s worth a price of $130US.
Note: The Watch_Dogs CE includes no download codes. After going through all the enclosed leaflets, it turns out that all the bonus content included with the PS4 version of the game appear to be on the physical game disc and do not need to be downloaded separately.
Watch_Dogs is out now for the PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. It is coming out on Wii U later this year.

It’s time for a new Mind of Maniac, an unscripted series where Maniac talks about various important topics going on with the gaming industry. In the most timely Mind of Maniac we have ever posted, Maniac talks about Microsoft’s most recent announcement. Yesterday, Microsoft announced their intention to release a new version of the Xbox One which does not include a Kinect. While this was met with near universal praise from the gaming press, the Kinect is a peripheral that was pretty integral to Microsoft’s strategy with the Xbox One. Here’s a list of problems that making the Kinect optional will make for game developers, consumers, and Microsoft.
