World of Final Fantasy was first announced at E3 2015 and now we are a week away from seeing its official release.  But aside from its cameos from familiar Final Fantasy characters and a cute new art style we haven’t seen much in the way of actual gameplay.

Today, that has changed.  The guys at Square Enix were kind enough to release the game’s demo a week before the full game’s official release and I invite all of you to check out our full Let’s Play of the demo to see our initial thoughts about it.

All game footage is provided with full video commentary.

World of Final Fantasy is coming October 25th, 2016 to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Commander Keen and I go back a long time, in fact it was the franchise that made me a PC Gamer. Developed by id Software, Commander Keen proved that games on par with what you could play on a Nintendo console could also be played on the PC, and brought the shareware business model into the mainstream.

As with all podcasts, we will be discussing the history of the game franchise, talk about our experiences with it, and finally speculate on what we think the future holds.  No reason to stall any longer, you can listen to the entire episode below.

Next time, we will be discussing the PlayStation exclusive game franchise Until Dawn.

Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV Blu-Ray Steelbook Unboxing October 4, 2016

The CG animated feature KINGSGLAIVE: Final Fantasy XV was announced several months ago alongside a slew of new Final Fantasy XV content including the prequel Platinum Demo, the traditionally animated episodic series BROTHERHOOD: Final Fantasy XV, the smartphone game Justice Monsters Five, and more.

While the film had a successful theatrical release back in August, it was so brief and so limited it was nearly impossible for me to go see it while it was being shown.

A Blu-Ray Disc featuring the film is being included with both Final Fantasy XV Retail Collector’s Editions, so I wasn’t interested in getting the normal BD release. However, this steelbook edition of the film includes a special bonus disc featuring an extended cut of the traditionally animated prequel series BROTHERHOOD: Final Fantasy XV, making it a must buy.

Thankfully I knew the film would be getting a standalone release on Blu-Ray Disc, so I decided to wait for that.  Today, that wait ended.  So take a look with me and see just what’s inside the steel box.

Final Fantasy XV is coming out November 29th, 2016 to Xbox One and PS4.

Several standalone story episodes have been released for Batman: Arkham Knight in the months since it was originally released.  Most of them follow a simple formula with a linear pathway, but the DLC pack titled “A Matter of Family” is different. In it, you control Batgirl in a mission before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum.

This DLC pack is not only longer than the other ones, it has its own collectibles, trophies/achievements, and more.  Take a look and watch us play it. All game footage is provided with video commentary.

Batman: Arkham Knight is out now for PC, Xbox One and PS4.

We finished up our Let’s Play of Batman: Arkham Knight on the PS4 last weekend but sadly all of the game’s final mission and ending is censored.  So to make it up to everyone who has not had the chance to check out the game for themselves, we decided to look at some of the game’s DLC content.

First up, we’ll be looking at the Scarecrow AR missions which are exclusive to the PS4 version of the game, and then we will be moving on to some special Batmobile tracks you may remember from the earlier Batman films and television series.

All footage is provided with video commentary.

If this isn’t enough for you, don’t worry. We will be taking a look at Batgirl’s DLC expansion pack “A Matter of Family” next time.

Batman: Arkham Knight is out now on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

We don’t have an art book to review today but after years of demanding for it, Pepsi has finally rereleased Crystal Pepsi for a few weeks.

Maniac has fond memories of Crystal Pepsi from when it was originally released back in the early 90s, but Princess Angel had never tried it before. Here are Princess Angel’s unfiltered thoughts on Crystal Pepsi after she decided to try it for the very first time.

For the record, Princess Angel absolutely loves gummy cola bottles.
