All Dungeons & Dragons players know that regardless of what edition of the game they’re playing, there is one essential tool all players are going to need to bring with them other than their imagination and that is dice. But what dice do you buy and what happens if you’re like me and are very particular about the color of dice you buy?
Dice maker Chessex offers gaming dice of all different colors and configurations. One of those options is a 7-pack of different dice featuring the same color. Today, we’re going to take a close look at one of those sets, Gemini Blue-Steel. Let’s take a look and try them out!

With a name inspired by the RF Switch gamers needed to use to change their televisions back and forth between cable TV and their video game console, the band RF Switch performs a rockin setlist of music inspired by television and video games from the 80s.
This past weekend, RF Switch performed at the CT GamerCon 2017 and we were lunch enough to get some video of them in action! Here’s their rendition of the theme to Metroid.

We were invited to the CT GamerCon at the Mohegan Sun Casino this past weekend. We recorded hours of footage and took countless photographs while at the event.

Does Dungeons & Dragons need any introduction? Created by Gary Gygax, it is an enduring pen and paper RPG now in its 5th edition.
For years now, Maniac has been reading and watching countless works inspired by D&D, including the webcomic Table Titans, documentaries like The Dwarvenaut, and countless retrospectives. This weekend, he is heading over to the Connecticut GamerCon and so he felt the time was right to finally learn about the game. After doing tons of research on the first thing new players should pick up, he decided to get the 5th Edition Starter Set. Let’s take a look at what’s inside the box!

We are back and resuming our Let’s Play of the PS2 classic Final Fantasy X. In Part 14, we take a peek at Maniac’s Final Fantasy collection as we catch butterflies, and later battle through the snow.
Apologies in advance for this next part, it took me five attempts to defeat the boss.
Now with that out of the way, let’s make our way out of the mountains to find ourselves crossing the desert in a way that would make Frank Herbert happy.
