How Many Pokemon TCG Cards I Obtained After Eating McDonalds For a Month March 10, 2021

In February, fast food restaurant McDonalds teamed up with The Pokémon Company and offered fifty exclusively marked Pokémon Trading Card Game cards based on every unique starter from every generation (including Pikachu). Twenty-five cards would be offered as non-foil cards, and the exact same twenty-five would be offered in foil for a total of fifty unique cards.

Instead of going to the store and buying up the entire stock, we decided to play fair. We wanted to see if it was actually possible to a hungry kid to obtain all fifty cards over the course of the promotion. Each Happy Meal card pack came with four cards, and each pack had one foil and three non-foils. For fairness, we only ate at McDonalds once a day (on average) for the length of the promotion, and we cut the promotion off when our area’s McDonalds ran out of their supply.

My Pokemon 25 Story February 27, 2021

Happy Pokémon 25! The Pokémon Company has been encouraging trainers from all over the world to share their Pokémon stories on the 25th anniversary of the original games’ release. Five years ago, we did share our origins with the franchise, so I thought it would be cool to tell one of my favorite stories from the past five years, the day I got to preview the Pokémon Let’s Go games in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

What to Do When Your Joy-Con Has Drift February 24, 2021

We love the Nintendo Switch here on this site. But if you have a Nintendo Switch, it is possible the analog sticks in your controller may start to experience symptoms of drift. What is drift? Drift is what happens when your controller starts to do things you aren’t telling it to, either by ignoring your inputs or creating inputs of their own.
