Earlier this week, Square Enix announced and released an all new demo for Final Fantasy XV on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 digital marketplaces. The new demo is called the Platinum Demo and it contains a section of gameplay not found in the full version of the game.

Yesterday, we played through the entire Platinum Demo on the PlayStation 4 with providing live picture-in-picture video commentary.  If you were unable to catch the live stream, here it is.

Special thanks to all the fans who joined us for that stream!  If you haven’t downloaded the Platinum Demo yet you should give it a look. If you can complete it you’ll unlock some exclusive DLC that you can bring into the full version of the game.

Final Fantasy XV is coming September 30th, 2016 to the Xbox One and PS4.

Last week, Microsoft announced the upcoming release of Quantum Break, and said that anyone who preorders the game digitally or at a selected retailer will be entitled to a digital download of Remedy’s previous title, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare.

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is a follow up to the cult classic Alan Wake, a game I absolutely love. It was released digitally on the Xbox 360 and would later get ported to the PC.  Now the game is playable on the Xbox One using Backwards Compatibility. Let’s take a look at how this game plays on Microsoft’s newest console with video commentary as we wait patiently for Quantum Break to be released!

We’re going to be playing through the whole game so just be aware there’s going to be spoilers!

Special thanks to Bawls for providing Maniac’s wardrobe!

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is out now on Xbox 360 and PC. It is free for anyone who preorders Quantum Break on the Xbox One.

Following up on our successful Let’s Play series this weekend, Maniac decides to take a step back from the PS4 and stream an Xbox One game.

When you think about Xbox exclusive games, you think about Halo, and what better Xbox One exclusive game to show off than Halo 5: Guardians?  We’ll be playing the first two levels from the game. Along the way, Maniac will not only talk about how the game holds up in comparison to other Halo titles, he will help a commenter fix his controller, give his gripes about the difficulty in finding Halo 5-branded Axe gift packs, and speculate about the story for Halo 6 and Halo 7!

Halo 5: Guardians is out now exclusively for Xbox One.
