iOS and iPadOS 14.4.1 Released March 8, 2021

A security update for pretty much all Apple devices was released earlier today. It’s not very big, ranging between a 110-150MB download, but it can take a while to process. It isn’t expected to include any new features, but it should include some bug fixes. So if you have an iPhone or iPad, you’re going to want to get it as soon as possible.

The new update can be installed through your device’s software update menu or iTunes.

Marvel’s Avengers Adding Customizable HARM Rooms With Next Patch March 8, 2021

We know a major update for Marvel’s Avengers is just days away. That update was already revealed to include native next gen console support and the new playable character Clint “Hawkeye” Barton. Now, it looks like the patch is adding a new feature, customizable HARM rooms. Let’s take a look.

Marvel’s Avengers is out now for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Stadia. It’s coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S March 18th, 2021.

Conversations With Curtis Announced March 8, 2021

Ladies and Gentlemen, Paul Stetler:

I admit I never saw this coming. Back in the late 2000s, I had stumbled upon a Let’s Play of a PC horror game that I could immediately tell could only have been made in the year 1996. That game was called Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh. As a person who grew up playing classic PC FMV adventure games, the game’s mechanics felt familiar to me. The game’s subject matter on the other hand, was unlike anything I had ever seen done in a video game at that time. No joke, I ended up buying a sealed boxed copy of the game for myself shortly after seeing it, and I have since played the game myself and enjoyed it.

Now, the original actor who played Curtis Craig is ready to look deeper into the game. He’s got interviews with several of the people who worked on the game lined up (oh please tell me he can find Don Berg). His intention is to rediscover the motives behind the game, how it was made, and give updates on the people who worked on it.

You can keep up with the project on its official Facebook Page. You’ll find a really heartfelt note there written by Mr Stetler that would warm anyone’s heart. We will keep you up to date with his progress, and it looks like his next video update is coming in early April.

Marvel’s Avengers Next Gen Overview Trailer March 4, 2021

I actually enjoyed Marvel’s Avengers when it launched late last year, and it looks like Square Enix is ready to bring the game to natively support the newest next-generation consoles. That means higher framerates, improved graphics, faster loading times, and a few other tweaks will be coming to players on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S. Let’s take a look:

The next-gen patch is expected to release alongside the Clint Barton Hawkeye expansion on March 18th, 2021.

Marvel’s Avengers is out now for PC, Stadia, Xbox One and PS4. If you have the PS4 or Xbox One version of the game you will be able to upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series X/S version (respectively) free of charge.

DOOM 3 VR Announced March 3, 2021

DOOM 3, say what you will about it, was one of the most terrifying games I ever played on the PC. Now, PSVR users will be able to experience it…in VR.

Now might be the time to invest in new pants. The VR game will include both of its expansion packs.

DOOM 3 VR is coming March 29th, 2021 to the PSVR. You’ll need a PS4 as well.

Tetris 99 Super Mario Bowser’s Fury Event Starts Tomorrow March 3, 2021

If you have a Nintendo Switch now might be a good time to put your search for Cat Shines on hold. Nintendo Network users better check their copies of Tetris 99 tomorrow because a big Mario themed event will be starting tomorrow and going throughout the weekend. Take a look!

You’ll have to earn 100 event points during the event to unlock an exclusive theme inspired by Bowser’s Fury. Sure looks really cool to me.

Tetris 99 is out now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Only Nintendo Network subscribers can participate.

Ratchet and Clank (2016) is Free on PSN Right Now March 2, 2021

Sony’s Play at Home promotion has returned and that means PlayStation owners can log into the PlayStation Store right now and get 2016’s Ratchet and Clank for free.

This should work if you own either a PS4 or a PS5. Unlike games obtained through Playstation Plus or Games for Gold, once obtained, this game is yours forever.
