iOS and iPadOS 14.5.1 Released May 3, 2021

I know we all spent our evenings upgrading to 14.5 not too long ago, but Apple has just released a NEW update for iPhones and iPads earlier today. The new update, version 14.5.1, weighs in at around 150MB (depending on your device).
You can get the update right now either through your Software Update menu or iTunes. Get this update as soon as possible because it includes a fix for a serious exploit. tvOS doesn’t seem to need an update today.

Sony’s just released their newest console, and we are still learning about what it is capable of. Today, during the State of Play, we got to see some new games coming to the PS5, including the next Ratchet and Clank game. Well, if you missed it, you can check it out below.

Cyberpunk 2077 1.22 Patch Released April 28, 2021

Cyberpunk 2077’s developer has released a new hotfix for the game on PC, Stadia and consoles. The new patch, version 1.22 contains numerous bug fixes, as well as memory management optimizations meant to fix crashing on PlayStation console.
Here’s a look at the game’s official patch notes:
Quests & Open World
- The Metro: Memorial Park dataterm should now properly count towards the Frequent Flyer achievement.
- Fixed glitches in Johnny’s appearance occurring after buying the Nomad car from Lana.
- Fixed an issue in Gig: Until Death Do Us Part where it was not possible to use the elevator.
- Fixed an issue in Epistrophy where the player could get trapped in the garage if they didn’t follow the drone and ran into the control room instead.
- Added a retrofix for the issue we fixed in 1.21, where Takemura could get stuck in Japantown Docks in Down on the Street – for players who already experienced it before update 1.21 and continued playing until 1.22, Takemura will now teleport to Wakako’s parlor.
- Fixed an issue preventing the player from opening the phone in the apartment at the beginning of New Dawn Fades.
- Fixed an issue where the player could become unable to use weapons and consumables after interacting with a maintenance panel in Riders on the Storm.
Visual
- Fixed various issues related to clipping in NPCs’ clothes.
UI
- Fixed an issue where subtitles were not properly aligned in the Arabic language version.
Stability and performance
- Various memory management improvements (reducing the number of crashes), and other optimizations.
- Improved GPU performance of skinning and cloth rendering.
Console-Specific
- GPU and ESRAM optimizations and improvements on Xbox One.
- Memory management improvements on PlayStation 5.
Stadia-specific
- It’s no longer possible to get soft locked in the key bindings menu if a keyboard is not available

Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics and Marvel Entertainment are still plugging away at producing new content for Marvel’s Avengers. Today, a new episode featuring a look behind the scenes of the game’s development has just been published and this episode’s focus is the new campaign missions that take place after the Reassemble campaign.

Conversations With Curtis Episode 2 Announced April 27, 2021

For the past month, fans of the classic PC horror game Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh have been happy to see the game’s lead actor has been digging up the past to share more about the game’s development in his web series Conversations with Curtis. Following an incredible first episode, actor Paul Morgan Stetler has episode 2 lined up and earlier today he announced he will interview the game’s co-star, actress Monique Parent!
Episode 2 is expected to broadcast live on Friday May 21st at 7pm eastern (4pm pacific). You can subscribe to their official YouTube channel to get notified when it starts!

Pretty much every device Apple currently has on the market (including the iPad, iPhone and Apple TV) has finally received a major update today. The new update, version 14.5, adds major privacy features and support for the new AirTag device, so people all over the world can keep track of everything from their keys to their lost luggage through their Apple device.
The new iPhone update brings FaceID activation for iPhones connected to an Apple Apple Watch. This will allow FaceID activation even if the user is wearing a facemask.
The new update is VERY big, weighing in at 1.4GB, even if you had the previous most recent version of your Apple software installed. It is highly recommended you update ALL of the installed apps you’re using (before or after doing this upgrade) to ensure compatibility.
You can download 14.5 right now either through your device’s software update feature or through iTunes.
Pokemon Players Cup III Global Finals April 26, 2021

Yesterday, the big finale of Pokémon Players Cup III took place, and after much battling winners were finally declared the very best in Pokémon TCG Online, Pokkén Tournament DX and Sword/Shield. As the weekend wraps, the Pokémon Players Cup III Global Finals continue on. In this competition, Pokémon trainers from all over the world seek the opportunity to be (for lack of a better word) the very best like no one ever was. Yesterday was Day 2 of the event, and featured a continuation of Pokémon Video Game and Trading Card Game Online play, as well as the first day of Pokkén Tournament completion.
