We’ve known there will be a sequel to 2018’s incredible God of War for some time now. Today, we got our first actual look at the game. It looks…EPIC. Take a watch, and just know that Sony has confirmed a new director will be taking the lead on this one.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Announced September 9, 2021

Words…just…can’t describe how I feel right now. I have waited for this announcement since one day after the release of the first Insomniac Spider-Man game. It’s been teased, over and over again across the past four years. Today, we have confirmation it is coming. Two Spider-Men are queued up to face the two villains Kraven The Hunter and VENOM. Insomniac has been busy.

Since it was announced at E3 2021, I’ve been really looking forward to playing Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. While we’ve seen up close looks at the game’s characters and villains (as well as it’s kickin’ soundtrack) and now it looks like we finally have a story trailer to tell us who (and what) we’re up against. It was believed Sony missed out on showing their upcoming games for the PlayStation platform by not having any presentation during this year’s E3, and earlier today it looks like they have stepped up to show what is coming for the PlayStation consoles. Let’s take a look!

Alan Wake Remastered Announced September 7, 2021

In 2005 I was a staff writer for one of the biggest Max Payne fansites on the web at the time. Following the release of Max Payne 2, fans of the company responsible for making it, Remedy Games, were heavily anticipating the studio’s next title, whatever it happened to be. At E3 2005, we found out it would be a game called Alan Wake. Five years later, Alan Wake would get released and while it isn’t as well known a game as Halo or Metal Gear Solid, it is a beloved game by the fans who have been lucky enough to play it.

Earlier today Alan Wake’s lead writer, the legendary Sam Lake, announced Alan Wake is being remastered for current and next-generation consoles. Details are currently scarce but Remedy says they intend to keep the original art style and atmosphere intact.

Alan Wake Remastered is coming Fall 2021 to Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC through Epic Games Store..

The Future of Conversations With Curtis September 6, 2021

Six months and five episodes after it began, Paul Morgan Stetler, who played the lead role of Curtis Craig in the classic PC horror game Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh, gives an update on his documentary series about the people who worked on the game, Conversations with Curtis. Let’s give it a watch.

Dead Space Reboot Early Stream August 31, 2021

EA announced they would be rebooting the multiplatform horror franchise Dead Space back during this year’s E3. We only got a few seconds of footage, but the atmosphere they revealed at that time hit just the right chords. Earlier today, the game’s developers were good enough to broadcast this livestream early look at the game. It’s about 40 minutes long, so let’s take a look.

DC Fandome 2021 Announced August 31, 2021

DC Comics has announced the return of their incredible streaming event DC Fandome for 2021. Expected to make a return among the movies and television reveals, are previews for at least two new video games, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Gotham Knights. Here’s the trailer.

I actually loved last year’s Fandome and I’m really excited for what’s in store this year.
