We were exercising our vacation time when this news popped up but I just thought I would relay the news that E3 2022 has been cancelled, completely. There will be no onsite show and no online event to compensate.

When I was first starting off writing about video games back when I was in high school, E3 was a mythical event I aspired to attend like some NFL players wished they could play at the Super Bowl. I even was lucky enough to attend a few of the events myself. However, due to a combination of factors combined with the current world events, E3 has had to scale back their show for the past few years, and the streaming events they held instead of their onsite show has not been as successful as other previously-existing offerings.

E3 intends to return in 2023z

There are few classic PC adventure game fans who don’t know the names of Sam and Max: Freelance Police. I would describe the games as absolute insanity, with two lovable characters and gameplay logic that stretches any adventure game fan’s mind.

The team over at Big Sugar have been working on a brand-new Sam & Max VR game for some time, and now it looks like PSVR owners will be sitting in the office of the Freelance Police very soon. Here’s the trailer:

Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual is out now for Oculus. It is coming to the PSVR February 23rd, 2022.
