It appears that GameStop has gone ahead with their own rewards program, called PowerUp Rewards. I have talked about the service in the past, but it looks like the rewards have gotten better since it was first announced, and its still free. Since the service is considered BETA, it is not in all areas yet, but you can enter your e-mail address and zip code to be notified when it does come into your area.
You get a 500 point bonus just for activating, which is kind of nice.
Gears of War 3 Delayed October 1, 2010

The highly anticipated Xbox 360 exclusive game Gears of War 3 will not see a release in April 2011 as originally announced.
The game has been delayed five months, the new release date is expected to be October 2011. They claim this is purely a marketing decision, and I must admit this is likely. The first quarter of 2011 is packed with releases. In fact, more major releases are coming in that quarter than what is coming out this holiday season. This is unheard of, holidays is always the busiest season (just ask EA about 2008).

The fan-favorite yet commercially disappointing game of last generation, Beyond Good and Evil is getting a re-release on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 as a downloadable game in High Definition.
I must admit I’ve heard great things about this game but never had the chance to play it. I have a ton of friends who have been waiting a long time for the sequel to this game, which has been promised for a while.
No release date or price has been confirmed.

GoG.com has revealed to the press today they will issue an official statement on the status of their network on Wednesday. They also have confirmed downloads to their existing customers (still DRM-free) can be resumed on Thursday.
A lot of people on the Internet are passing this off as a publicly stunt, or as a way for them to start selling their games with DRM. We’ll find out Wednesday.
