This morning in New York City Nintendo officially announced the final price and release date for the new Wii U.
The Wii U will ship in two different versions. One version, which will include the Wii U console and Wii U controller in white, will retail for $299US and contain 8GB of internal memory, as well as an HDMI cable, and charging cables for the Wii U console and Wii U Controller.
The second version, with the Wii U console and controller in black will retail for $249 US and feature everything that the white bundle will include, but will feature 32GB of internal memory, and charging docks for the Wii U controller. However, what may be most important about this premium bundle is that it will include a full version of the game Nintendo Land.
Part of the reason why the original Wii was such a success was because Nintendo made the brilliant decision to bundle the Wii with a game that took full advantage of all the Wii’s new capabilities, and that game was Wii Sports. Because of the incredible sales of Wii consoles since 2006, Wii Sports has become one of the highest selling games in history.
The Wii U launches November 18th, 2012.

The second part of the Halo 4 making-of series has been released, this time detailing the Forerunners. The Forerunners were the integral backstory component of the Halo series. They had built the Halo rings to destroy the Flood. a parasitic organism that thrived on organic life. The only way to kill the Flood was to starve it to death, so that was what they chose to do. They saved existence at the cost of their own lives.
We have never seen any living Forerunners in any of the previous Halo games, but we have seen them in some of the Halo Extended Universe. Now, on this new unknown planet, the Master Chief has discovered more clues about them, and more things they may have left behind.
Halo 4 is coming November 6th, 2012 exclusive to the Xbox 360.
