I have been waiting YEARS to add a Mortal Kombat cabinet to my basement arcade collection. However I promised my wife I would not add a Mortal Kombat machine unless it included ALL of the MK games originally released for arcades. That meant it needed to have Mortal Kombat 4. For YEARS I have waited to see MK4 get a rerelease in some modern form, even if that included a stand-up cabinet or a console port. Today, I can say that day has come, at least for modern consoles!
Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection includes the arcade versions of MK1-4 alongside several console ports of the games. They have been updated for online play and include special behind the scenes features.
Mortal Kombat: Legacy Collection is out now for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.

Earlier this week, Apple quietly announced hardware revisions for their MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Vision Pro devices will be releasing later this week. The big news about this announcement was that all this hardware will now be powered by Apple’s new M5 processor.
This is a powerful enhancement for the Vision Pro, as the M5 is capable of Ray Tracing as well as enhanced AI performance over the current M2 chip. This can mean better in-app performance, longer battery life, and a higher theoretical refresh rate.
Other than the chip, it doesn’t appear that there are any new features of this Vision Pro that will not be offered to existing Vision Pro owners. That new dual knit head strap does look nice….but it will be sold separately for $99US at Apple Stores.

It’s been nearly two years since the release of the Apple Vision Pro, and we felt the time is ready to finally provide our thoughts about it. So, what do we think of this product that we’ve been using since day one? What accessories do we prefer to use with it? What do we think could be improved about it? Watch the video below for our full review.
Free Control: Ultimate Edition Update Including Previously Locked DLC and Missions Out Now October 6, 2025
Posted by Maniac in Game News.add a comment
Before they released the new horror classic Alan Wake II, the developer Remedy Games released a game called Control, which we quickly discovered took place in the same universe of Alan Wake. To incentivize people to pick up the game during its initial release period, the developer included downloadable content in the form of exclusive character outfits spread out among those who either preordered or purchased the game’s Collector’s Edition. They also offered an exclusive mission (starring Hideo Kojima) for those who purchased the game’s season pass.
None of this content was made available to players who picked up the game’s later rereleases for the Xbox Series or PS5 platforms, Control Ultimate Edition. While it included the DLC missions offered in the original game’s Season Pass, including The Foundation and AWE, it did not offer any of the game’s original bonus skins, or the secret mission offered to players who initially purchased the season pass.
Many months ago, Remedy has finally answered the pleas of the console players when they released a free patch on the PC version of the Ultimate Edition which included not just enhancements to the game, but ALL of the previously locked exclusive content that was never offered to the Ultimate Edition owners. However, that content was not offered to PS5 or Xbox Series owners, and Remedy notified us we would need to hold off and wait for it to come.
Well, I’m happy to announce that wait is finally over. Here’s a look at today’s Patch Notes:
OUTFITS
The following outfits are now available to all players. The outfits can be accessed and equipped from the Control Point in the Central Executive Sector area.
• Astral Dive Suit (formerly a pre-order exclusive)
• Tactical Response Gear (formerly a pre-order exclusive)
• Urban Response Gear (formerly a pre-order exclusive)
MISSIONS
All players will receive the mission Dr. Yoshimi Tokui’s Guided Imagery Experience, featuring voiceover by Hideo Kojima. The mission is playable when you pick up the Dr Tokui Tapes collectible in the Extrasensory Lab of the Research Sector. (This mission was previously exclusive to the PlayStation 4 Digital Deluxe version of Control.)
