iOS/iPadOS 18.4 Released March 31, 2025

An important update has just been released for practically everything Apple makes today. The new update, 18.4, has just been released on supported iPads and iPhones. It weighs in at over 3.6GB and should be downloaded as soon as possible.

The new update adds support for an integrated Vision Pro application on iPhones. The app will download automatically to your device following a successful update. Thankfully, this update will NOT force the new Apple Intelligence feature to autoenable on supported devices, and require you to manually turn off the Apple Intelligence feature as soon as the update concludes.

Similar updates have also been released for Apple TV, Mac and Vision Pro. The biggest new feature for the Vision Pro is expected to be a new immersive application to highlight some of the best curated spatial images and video from across the world. There does not appear to be an update for the Apple Watch at this time.
