iOS/iPadOS 18.0.1 Released October 3, 2024

Apple has just released a minor but important update to all devices powered by iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and WatchOS 11.

The update is expected to cover many initial issues reported in iOS 18, including some minor screen response lapses noted on certain model iPhones. It is recommended all M4 iPad Pro devices update running on iOS 18 update immediately to the new OS.

The new update is not very large and may weigh in at just a few hundred megabytes. There does not appear to be an Apple TV update at this time, and we have not tested if an update has come to Vision Pro devices just yet.
