EA shocked everyone when they released this new look into the upcoming remake of Dead Space. As someone who fondly remembers the original 2008 game I must admit it was exciting to see all these recognizable moments looking even better than they did back in the day. Time to start screaming.
Damn I must admit that looks really good. We’ll see how the final product holds up.

The original still holds up visually imo. The environments are dark, and the lighting & shadows are used sparingly and eloquently. I’ll admit some moments really didn’t age well. For instance, the drawn-out tutorials and shoddy texture quality in high light situations. Animations are a bit stiff as well, but I think overall it’s a good game to play in 2022.
