The legendary American TV host Conan O’Brian had an incredible chance to visit Kojima Studios and get a rare look at the upcoming PS4 exclusive Death Stranding. Joining Conan is the game’s director, Hideo Kojima. This may have aired specifically for television but this preview is just too great to not highlight here.

That scan turns out to be a big deal for this game. Kojima Productions have revealed that Conan O’Brian will be featured in Death Stranding as an in-game character! We will talk more about that once the footage gets made public.

Death Stranding is coming November 2019 exclusively to the PS4.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – Designing BD-1 Featurette October 22, 2019

We’re really looking forward to the next major Star Wars game and if its previews are any indication Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order may be the best Star Wars game EA has ever produced…not that the bar is very high on that goal post.

This video is a behind the scenes look at one of the game’s major characters, your personal droid. BD-1 was created specifically for this new game and continues the tradition of robots being a part of the Star Wars universe.

Somebody ask Disney’s Imagineers something for me, “Are we going to be able to build our own custom BD-1 droids at Disney Parks?” I want one!

That’s not the only Star Wars news we have for you guys. For some reason that escapes all logic, Lucasfilm decided to air the final trailer for the highly-anticipated Star Wars Episode 9 during a live broadcast I cant imagine any Star Wars fan had any interest in watching, a sports event. If you happened to miss that event because you had literally anything better to do, I don’t blame you. Here’s yesterday’s final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order coming November 15th, 2019 to the Xbox One, PC and PS4.

Don’t Buy 4TB Internal Hard Drives for PS4 Yet October 16, 2019

I currently use a 2TB PS4 Pro and the internal drive has very nearly finished filling up with my games and DLC. For those of you who know me, you know what that means. Yes, I wanted to crack my PS4 open and upgrade it once again. The PS4 uses a pretty standard internal hard drive specification (2.5″ internal SATA) that can be upgraded with current off the shelf hard drives made for laptops. However, when I started looking at the technical specifications of current 4TB drives I assumed would fit the PS4’s form factor I received nothing but warnings not to use those 4TB drives inside a PS4.

The important thing to know as to why you shouldn’t currently buy a 4TB drive for a PS4 when it should work in theory. It has to do with the physical size of the drive. While 4TB drives exist they currently achieve this by being at a thickness of 15mm. The Hard Drive compartment of a PS4 or PS4 Pro currently maxes out at 9.5mm. In short, the 4TB drives physically can’t fit, they’re too thick!

So until Seagate or Western Digital finally manufactures a 4TB 2.5″ SATA drive that is 9.5mm thick, I’m going to leave this warning up here for anyone looking for this information to find.

I guess we’ll either have to delete my content or use an external drive for the time being.

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Delayed October 16, 2019

I’ve been looking forward to playing a sequel to the original Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines since the end of 2004. Now it looks like I will be waiting just a bit longer. It is my sad duty to inform you all that Paradox Interactive has delayed their upcoming sequel past their previous release date of Q1 2020.

You can read their official word on the delay here. I have to say I’m okay with this delay as the world Paradox is creating (based on the early previews) is huge with a branching interconnected story. Polishing and testing a world that complex takes time. Of course those of us who have played the original Bloodlines will be the first to say how they wished that game had received several more months of play testing before that game was released. I’m hopeful the sequel will improve on the original.

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is coming later in 2020 to PC, Xbox One and PS4.
