Now that E3 2018 has passed, we can resume our ongoing Let’s Play of Detroit: Become Human. Today, we’ll be revisiting a level Maniac first saw at E3 2017. Kenneth Mars once said, “A riot can be an ugly thing, and I think it is about time we had one!”
All footage streamed from a PS4 Pro and provided with full video commentary.
We will be resuming live broadcasts of the game next week. Subscribe to our Twitch Channel to stay up to date on when we broadcast.
Detroit: Become Human is out now exclusively for the PlayStation 4.

Microsoft revealed not one, but three new Gears of War games at E3 2018. After the Microsoft E3 2018 briefing concluded, Microsoft hosted their own live interviews on their official Mixer Channel. During their Inside Xbox stream, they sat down with Rod Ferguson to talk about the new Gears of War games. If you missed it, or wanted to see it again, take a look. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to finish Gears of War 4.
Gears of War 5 is coming in 2019 to Xbox One and Windows 10.

Octopath Traveler was originally announced alongside the Nintendo Switch. It has an incredible charm with its voxel art style, and is being developed by the same team responsible for Bravely Default on the Nintendo 3DS. Now, it’s less than a month away from release and the guys over at Nintendo’s Treehouse got to do a live preview of the game. They reveal some new playable characters that haven’t been seen before and assure us that you will be able to transfer your data from the demo to the full version of the game.
Octopath Traveler is coming July 13, 2018 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. You can download the Octopath Traveler Prologue Demo right now from the Nintendo eShop.

E3 2018 Coliseum – Cuphead Animation Workshop June 14, 2018

Cuphead was a throwback to not only the near-impossible platformers we played in the 1980s, but also the classic animated cartoons produced in the 1930s. MDHR hired some of the best traditional 2D animators in the world to work on Cuphead, and you can tell. Now, the game is getting an all-new DLC expansion pack with a new environment, new levels and a new playable character.
If you’d like to see high resolution images from the finished drawings, we will update this post with a link to the completed drawings when they get posted.
Cuphead is out now for PC and Xbox One.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate was the biggest reveal of E3 2018 Day 1. Nintendo capped off their great first day with an incredible invitational tournament where some of the best Smash players from all over the world got together to play the new game. The game is currently incomplete and they could only access half of the final game’s roster, but it was an incredible event with big surprises (and celebrity cameos) none the less.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate is coming December 7, 2018 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

Octopath Traveler Prologue Demo Released June 14, 2018
Posted by Maniac in Game News.add a comment
During Nintendo’s E3 2018 Direct, they revealed an all-new demo for Octopath Traveler would be released on June 14th. Well, I’m happy to say that it is currently live on the Nintendo eShop, but a link to download the demo isn’t currently attached to the game’s main page on the eShop and because of that it may require some digging to find it.
The fastest way to get the demo is to have Octopath Traveler news enabled on your news feed. There’s a recent news post announcing a preorder and preload option will be available for the game starting today (if you wish to purchase it digitally). You can select the Prologue Demo Version from the side of the news article, which will take you straight to the download menu for the demo. The other option is to manually do a search for Octopath Traveler in the eShop’s search bar, and select it the Prologue Demo Version from the listed options. Don’t worry, it is marked as a free download in the eShop.
I have no idea why Nintendo doesn’t currently have this demo attached to the game’s main page on the eShop, or why there isn’t currently a menu of downloadable demos to select from on the eShop, so as of now we will be forced to jump through these kind of hoops to play it.
UPDATE: This new Prologue demo functions differently than the previous one. You are limited to only three hours of gameplay in the demo and later sections of the game are locked out. However, you will be able to pick from any of the eight playable characters from the full version of the game, and your progress can carry over to the final version.
Octopath Traveler is coming July 13th, 2018 exclusively to Nintendo Switch.

This isn’t just an interview with the game’s developers, the guys at Remedy revealed a part of the E3 2018 demo of Control that only people on the show floor could see. If you want to know more about the game, or see actual gameplay up close, give this a watch.
Control is coming in 2019 to PC, Xbox One and PS4.
E3 Coliseum 2018 – Vitamin String Quartet Performing God of War June 14, 2018

We’re about to kick off E3 Day 3 coverage on the site, but before we do I wanted to publish something we missed talking about last night. The E3 Coliseum wrapped last night with a special performance of God of War‘s music by the Vitamin String Quartet. It was a one night only event, but in case you missed it, here it is. If you’ve played the game or not, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the performance.
God of War is out now exclusively on PS4.
