The guys at Square Enix did a two hour live stream on Thursday night to promote the upcoming release of Final Fantasy X/X-2 on the Playstation 4. The Final Fantasy franchise is one of the strongest IPs in the history of gaming, and Final Fantasy X has been hailed by many to be one of the greatest RPGs of all time. The games were originally released exclusively on the PS2, but were rereleased on the PS3 and Playstation Vita last year. Since the PS4 cannot play PS3 games, Square Enix is now bringing the game natively to PS4. During the stream they answer fan questions, talk about their experiences with the game, and drop some tidbits about what PS4 players can expect when they put this game in their PS4s.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 is coming to the PS4 May 12th, 2015.
Nintendo Treehouse: Splatoon Live May 9, 2015

We’re continuing this weekend’s coverage of the upcoming Wii U exclusive title Splatoon. While Nintendo has allowed all Wii U owners the chance to download the Splatoon Global Testfire Demo, players were only able to use the demo for a total of three hours this weekend. When the demo went live last night, Nintendo’s employees at the Treehouse did a live game broadcast of their experience playing the game against the world on Nintendo’s Official Twitch.TV Channel. Today, Nintendo has archived the live broadcast that they streamed last night, and it can now be watched by anyone who missed it, or wanted to rewatch it. Personally, I got so caught up in my matches last night, I was only able to catch a few minutes of the broadcast before the servers were shut down, so I’m happy Nintendo chose to archive the event on YouTube. Check it out below.
Expect more Splatoon videos this weekend!
Splatoon is coming May 29th, 2015 exclusively to the Wii U.
Splatoon Global Testfire Multiplayer Gameplay May 9, 2015

Nintendo launched the Splatoon Global Testfire Demo tonight at 8PM PST for exactly one hour and oh boy was that hour intense. We got to take a pretty good look at the gameplay for this unique multiplayer Wii U title, and here is some footage of our experience playing the game. All footage was directly captured off of a Wii U system in native 1080p.
First up here’s the character creation and training mission, which all players will get once they start the demo.
And here’s a little gameplay for you. This is a game of Turf War on the Saltspray Rig. The objective of a game of Turf War is to cover as much of the game environment with your team’s color ink, while preventing the opposing team from doing the same by any means necessary.
Splatoon is coming later this month exclusively on the Wii U.
